    The original farmhouse, established in 1850, has been periodically renovated to accommodate the growing demands of contemporary times.

    Over the years, the center has hosted programs for business, healthcare and education by bringing leading edge teachers to share their wisdom. "Studies in the New Therapies," "The Future of Education," and "The Business of Business" series brought an array of highly respected lecturers including Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Kubler Ross, Bernie Siegel, David Whyte, Harrison Owen, Robert Bly, Marion Woodman and Willis Harmon.

    It is now used for advanced leadership programs, personal development seminars and corporate retreats.

Great Room

    At The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center, we create the perfect setting for your event. State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and controlled lighting enhance your meetings and presentations.

    The "Great Room" 30'x 32' with its cathedral ceiling, pyramid wall of windows and natural lighting is the main meeting room.

    Fully equipped with comfortable chairs and/or back jacks, it can be arranged according to your needs.

Gathering Rooms     Relax in the comfort of one of our gathering rooms, where you can hold an informal meeting or enjoy one of the fabulous meals created by our chef.     Working fireplaces enhance the ambiance in the winter months.

Accommodations     The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center offers a variety of sleeping arrangements and can accommodate up to 65 overnight guests. To promote greater camaraderie, stay in the spacious shared rooms of our Main Lodge. For a more private setting, choose a room in our new addition, the Treetops Lodge.

The Hummingbird     Each of our rooms has its own theme and is individually decorated.

The Bluebird     This shared room has its own porch!

The Cardinal     Comfortable single beds and a "double-decker" offer a step up from the traditional bunk beds of our youth!

The Eagle     The Eagle room with its king size brass bed and private bath is luxuriously adorned in beige eyelet.

Maple in Treetops     The sliding glass door opens to your own patio and garden area.

Oak     The loft at Treetops - very private and spacious.
