Romantic getaway

Pros: Quaint and romantic 200-year-old property with all the the charm of such.

Loads of charm, thoughtfully prepared space great for a family.

Pros: Thoughtfully decorated, great amenities. I was in town to celebrate the holidays with family. The kitchen was well appointed for holiday cooking, the comfortable rooms allowed for great space for daytime visits and everything worked well.

Cons: Not a dislike but be aware: the property owner alerts guests about the steep stairs. Do be prepared! Two steep sets (from road to property outside and from first to second floor inside) plus a beautiful natural stone set (outside) means you are navigating stairs a lot. Some are uneven and narrow. I took it slow and had no issues, but it was a challenge! Also, the property is old which is incredibly charming. However that means uneven heating. Owner controls thermostat and is responsive and there are space heaters and window AC to address temp in Individual rooms.

Pros: How welcoming it was. Quiet deadend street with a view of the river and canal. Walk up the road to see a beautiful creek running through the woods.

Cons: I truly loved it all, but as age takes a toll on me 🥹 the steps leading up to our place made of beautiful boulders and stone were hard to climb with luggage. It was worth it.

Lambertville Retreat

Pros: We fell in LOVE with this house! If I could live there I would! Beautifully finished, garden area is adorable. Close to great downtown Lambertville is so nice will definitely stay here again!
