Carlisle House Bed and Breakfast

Excellent

Pros: Paul served the best breakfast, my wife said it was the best quiesh she ever had.location was close to everything downtown.

It was a pleasant stay. The location was convenient and the staff were very friendly.

Pros: Our stay was very comfortable. We had multiple family members traveling together, so the two bedrooms and bathrooms offered privacy, and the sitting room allowed us to gather together at the end of the day...much nicer than having two separate hotel rooms. There were full size sodas and water in the fridge and plenty of coffee pods for each morning. We really enjoyed the breakfast offered in the morning. It was a lovely room, with a variety of homemade breakfast options. People chatted with each other and it was a lovely way to start the day.

Cons: It was an older building, so we understood there were some limitations. Our room faced the street and many large trucks could be heard loudly through the old glass windows. The blinds had seen better days and were difficult to raise and lower. We wished the tv was a bit bigger, and the wifi connection kept dropping out so it was a challenge to try to watch tv in the evening. One of the showers was wonderful, but the other was hard for my father to get hot water (it may have been human error).

Pros: Honestly everything, this place felt like home in all the warm and comfortable ways.

Lovely place to stay for our daughter's wedding

Pros: Breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed the personal service while dining. Made use of the bathrobe, not something I usually experience in a standard hotel.

Cons: I have bad knees, so three flights of stairs was challenging. Parking was right.

Beautiful stay in every way!

Pros: The property is beautifully furnished and our every need seems to have been anticipated. Many extra touches of care, such as spa toiletries, mini fridge, luxurious sheets, etc. Our host went above and beyond, even calling to check on us when we hadn’t arrived (we were lost) and coming outside in the cold to lead us to the parking area, carrying a bag,etc. He was absolutely a dream host.

Pros: We loved the hospitality, the unique and historic building and the comfortable accommodations! We will be coming back!

Pros: The bed is comfortable and room is clean . Equipment in bathroom is good

Pros: We love Bed and Breakfasts because of the home cooked breakfast.

Cons: Their is nothing we didn't like.

An absolutely great place, and I will try to stay there again on my next trip to Carlisle.

Pros: Location was perfect. Free, secure parking was very helpful.

Cons: A little noisy (street noise) in our room but it died down later in the evening.

Lovely historic place to stay

Pros: Lovely place to stay while in town for a graduation. Building was warm and cozy, like staying at a friend's historic home. Quiche for breakfast was delicious, and they were able to include our graduate who joined us.

Cons: Can't think of a thing.
