Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B

Absolutely lovely

Pros: Maureen and Tom are absolutely lovely hospitable and kind B&B owners. They went out of their way to help give us recommendations on what to do, see and where to eat. And if Tom and Maureen were busy you could always count on one of the three dogs to be there. Jax, Lizzie and Bella are absolutely adorable. The breakfast was outstanding! It was cooked by Tom and Maureen themselves and that showed. To add to that, Maureen likes to bake and had new goodies each day. It was way too much to eat everything, but lucky for us there were ‘to go’ bags. So lunch was sorted as well. On top of that there were free snacks in the common area and in our room. It was also possible to get water, tea or coffee (with about ten different cups to choose from) in the common room. I simply cannot recommend enough to stay here. You won’t be disappointed! And if you go, don’t forget to ask Maureen about the lovely earrings she makes :D

Pros: The hosts were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was delicious,all home made & the best we have ever had.Also we had home made scones waiting for us every afternoon! The bedroom was furnished very unusual with antique furniture & we loved it.

Quiet and relaxing B&B you won’t forget!

Pros: This was a charming B&B with 3 rooms in the first floor. We went on a blistery -18° and windy day/night. Even with snow and gusts of wind, the parking area and walkway were shoveled. We were welcomed with a fire in the fireplace, cozy living room, well laid out eating area with lots of snacks and cold/hot drinks you can help yourself to. The room had a nice queens size bed, enough luggage space, closet and en-suite full bath(shower no tub)and everything has been thought through. Breakfast was delicious and whatever we couldn’t finish, we packed up for snacks later. Three amazing dogs that were so quiet until they came down and very friendly. I strongly recommend this location. We will revisit again!

Cons: Wish we had more time

It is a neighborhood where the house is, but the location was easily reached and accessible.

Pros: The food was excellent. There were dogs, which I miss at home. Tom and Maureen are very friendly and lovely people. We also met some interesting guests staying the night.

Cons: The bed was a bit soft.

For our first bed and breakfast stay, it was certainly a pleasant experience!

Pros: The breakfast was delicious. Tom and Maureen were such pleasant hosts and recommended a great place to eat during out stay. Also, their 3 dogs were such sweethearts!

Cons: The bed was a bit smaller than we like but for a one night stay it was fine.

Tom and Maureen were wonderful hosts I would stay there again

Pros: Clean, friendly lots of amenities available. Best breakfast ever and the hosts were dry accomodating

Pros: The house and the hosts exceeded our expectations. They did everything to make us feel at home. Everything was perfect and we had an awesome experience staying there. The food was all homemade and delicious.
