The White House

Pros: The house is incredible. You feel like a princess in a castle. It's an old manor house, including creaky floorboards, and the furnishings have been left as they were. There is also a garden to enjoy in good weather. I was able to check in myself with a code without any problems as I arrived very late. When I made a mistake on the second walk to the car and couldn't get the door open, someone came to help immediately after a phone call despite the late hour. The hostess is a super warm woman with whom I enjoyed chatting for quite a while the next day. I was only there for one night when I was passing through. But many guests use this place for a longer break. I can really understand that!

Pros: The hostess was very accommodating and lovely. Anything I needed, she helped me with. The property is a grand vintage house with beautiful furnishings.

Pros: Sara was a wonderful, super clean host. She keeps the historic house immaculate. The decor is creative with the presidential theme. Antique furniture. It's a theme stay :) There were young residents from around the world staying at the time I was there. Unexpected and intriguing :)

Cons: Same thing as any other place of stay... most other residents are quiet and considerate. Some are not. That's just life. Sara does her best to make it a quiet and considerate atmosphere. I'm grateful to her!

Pros: Staff was extremely responsive and nice. They paid extra attention to make sure my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. Coffee & fruits available every morning. Highly recommend

Perfect location for why I came to Plainfield NJ

Pros: Sara, the host was very pleasant. She showed me around the house. The room was spacious and clean.

Cons: I came into town for a music festival and the location was a mile away. That was the deciding factor. If you're going to book, bring everything that you'll need for your trip. This time I glad that I'm a chronic over packer. Be aware that the bedroom doors only lock from the inside so you'll have to keep anything valuable with you when you use the restroom or leave them in your vehicle.
