Peaceful Gateway to Island Creek Cottage

A best choice for a family vacation at the Poconos!

Pros: The place is the best ever for a family vacation! An authentic cottage, wooden, on the river, was such quiet, peaceful, nature, and sooooo high quality in every meaning. Was great!

Cons: All was perfect.

Peaceful and fun gateway for a family.

Pros: The cottage provides the perfect environment and amenities for a fun family vacation. It is very conveniently located, close to Bushkill falls and Delaware Water gap national reserve. The cottage itself is sparkling clean. Instructions for the house are clearly posted and the hosts made a conscious effort to make the stay as enjoyable as possible including appropriate toys and books for our 2 years old granddaughter.

Cons: Marshalls creek road can get busy during the day but remains very quiet at night.

100% worthy to stay in this beautiful home, so .enjoy people !

Pros: Very quiet.peaceful place.we enjoyed our visit.The owner very kindhearted and warmly welcomed us.you don’t need to bring anything to the house.They have everything you need to stay.definitely the most beautiful and comfortable place for vacation with your family.we sure love to come back again soon!

Cozy and comfortable!

Pros: The inside of the home was cozy and accommodating. It felt like a home away from home. We loved the little details! The outside was breathtaking! We can’t wait to stay during warmer months and enjoy the outdoor activities!

Cons: There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like.

Awesome, comfortable and tranquil place to stay. Views are beautiful and charming. All the comforts of home plus.

Pros: Beautiful home situated on such a fun and relaxing piece of property; spacious and well-stocked with everything a family or group of friends for a getaway; great communication with hosts; nearby to many restaurants, country shops, and outdoor recreation

Great time was had by all

Pros: Amazing time in the water. Also, enjoyed roasting marshmallows with the kids.

Cons: No AC in the master. Got hot even with the ac in the living room down to 65

18 year wedding anniversary and this place was magical, cozy,peaceful and gorgeous!!

Pros: We didn’t like anything about the property because we LOVED everything!

Cons: The only thing that we don’t like is that we can not take it with us lol!

I loved it and we will visit again and encourage others to give it a go you’ll be happy I promise .

Pros: It was a country style cabin with all the details well thought out for the visit . It was right on a creek that ran right through the property it also had wildlife right outside the window . I loved every about this place

Cons: The water pressure was a little low I’m not sure if it was due to the host or just how it is up in the mountains . Hot water didn’t last for the whole family we had to let it build up again . But that wasnt a big deal compared to all the beauty and other details they put into the cabin .

Pros: The six of us loved the cottage because it had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. We were all able to relax and enjoy ourselves. The holiday decorations added joy and created a special ambiance for us. Maribel and Agustin were excellent hosts. We absolutely loved the beautiful and calming creek at Island Creek Cottage, and we hope to return again to experience it in other seasons as well.

Cons: We would have preferred a shade or heavier curtain in the master bathroom for added privacy, but there is nothing about Island Creek Cottage we did not like.
