Peaceful Pocono Gem! Cabin 6 Mi to Dtwn Jim Thorpe

Perfect!! Comfortable and relaxing!

Pros: We liked that is was a great location. There was peaceful and quiet. The hostess was easy to get a hold of and answer our questions. Place was comfortable

Pros: Hot Tub was great! And the deer visitors were a bonus!

Pros: We loved the house. It was in a great location, that wasn't too far from Jim Thorpe. Loved having the fire pit and the hot tub! It was very cool gettin to see 5 deer prance around the property and surrounding properties while we sat in the hot tub. Owners were very nice and accommodating for an earlier check-in. We would definitely stay there again!

Cons: Only minus was the gas fire top pit on the deck was not working, but to be honest it really didn't matter cause there was a gas fireplace inside. This is mentioned really to inform the owners.

Stayed here with two traveling companions would come back

Pros: The home was well appointed with everything that we needed

Cons: A money tree someone to cook my breakfast and clean up my dishes unrealistic but that would have been nice the place was lovely no issues at all looked exactly like it did in the pictures

Great cabin in a friendly community!

Pros: This is a great location. The pool and lake are great. The town of Jim Thorpe is close by. We saw deer every day! It was quiet and so relaxing.

Cons: No air conditioning in 1 of the bedrooms. No dressers for clothes.

We had a lovely time in mid September with no beach expectations. Great for 4 or 5 people.

Pros: Nice little cabin, with a good , well-equipped kitchen, except for the shortage of knives. Also, no cheese grater, but these things are easily fixed.. Need to find a better place for the garbage can, though!. Also, better lights. Big Tv. Lovely outdoor space, and we enjoyed the fire table. It would not have been a short walk to the beach, though! Ok for us, and the lake looked lovely, but we did not use it because of the season. There were deer around, including fawns, and a bear came to visit, but his interest was the garbage cans. No luck there. Google maps is misleading, so turn onto Behrens Drive and then onto Piney Woods and you will find it quickly. The hosts left us some delicious ice cream sandwiches that we appreciated. Overall, we had a very good time.

Cons: Needs knives and better kitchen lights. It is much more than a mile from the beach.

Pros: The quiet, seen alot of deer and even a small bear.

Cons: The kids wished a tv in their room.
