Mainstreet Inn

Pros: After an unexpected difficulty with my lodging arranged through Airbnb in Drexel Hill, I was obliged, at the eleventh hour, to secure accommodation for two nights at this modest inn. I did not, however, repent of the decision. Indeed, I felt transported to my eighteenth year once more. Each morning, I strolled for some twenty minutes through the fair and agreeable town of Doylestown (clean, secure, and possessed of a most splendid castle) on my way to the railway station. Thence, a train conveyed me to the very heart of Philadelphia, to Jefferson Station, in a journey of no more than an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half. I occupied myself contentedly with my book throughout the ride. This humble establishment restored to me the forgotten pleasure of leisure : a gentle walk beneath the sun, in wholesome air, followed by more than an hour’s communion with a delightful volume. It was, in truth, a most gratifying experience.

Pros: Location, parking, the attached bar & restaurant. Comfortable bed with nice white bedding. Helpful and friendliness of the guy at reception also the house cleaning staff:)) Food & shopping center very close by across the street👍Doylestown Main street shopping area 5 min drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: No microwave in room, but this was minor because there was one in lobby reception area. Pillows were too soft for my liking.

excellent for the price

Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the temperature was good. The room was very quiet for sleeping. We had everything you can expect from a motel stay.

Cons: The one soap bar is very tiny and does not lather. It would be nice to have an extra blanket in the room as each bed had only one kin of thin weight blanket. The deadbolt lock has not work to secure the door in the three different rooms we have stayed in at various times. The door lock has no metal catch plate on the opposite side of the doorframe to secure the door.

The property exceeded my expectations considering the low cost!

Pros: I was expecting a creepy motel 6 vibe. But it was nothing like that! The room was clean and overall property was calm.

Cons: Our door didn't seem to have a proper seal as the wind was coming through and rattling the door all night. Would have liked an additional lock on the door for safety reasons. The beds were hard but for the price I can't complain too much.

Don't pass up this little hidden jem

Good value for Doylestown. Convenient location. : )

Pros: Reasonable price for Doylestown. Close to Fonthill castle and TileWorks. A quick drive to downtown.

Just what we needed for a night's stay.

Pros: It was nice, clean, and comfortable. Great location, super close to restaurants and stores.

Cons: People in the rooms next to us were very loud, but that's not necessarily the Inn's fault.

Pros: Not the fanciest place but the room was clean and the bed was so comfy!

Cons: Towels could be bigger/fluffier

Main Street Inn

Pros: The staff were excellent. They honored my request for a room on the first floor due to health issues my wife has. They gave us one right by the handicap space.

Cons: The advertising picture of the motel is a bit deceiving. The sign is in front of a restaurant, and the motel is behind it, not in the picture. Our first impressions were not the best, as it is an older motel with a group of people hanging outside one of the rooms. But we were pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet at night and during the day. The room was sparse with furniture. There was one chair for the desk, a dresser and bed. So it's a bit hard to sit and relax. However, our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly when we asked for something. If you're looking for the Ritz or something high-end, this isn't it. But if you're just staying a night or two and trying to save some money while seeing the sites inbox the area, this might be a choice for you. It was very close to everything we wanted to see as well as some great restaurants. They could do with a couple of comfortable chairs in the room. We would consider staying there again because the staff were excellent to us and the room was clean.

Nice Inn in a good location, comfortable, and clean

Pros: Nice Inn in a very good location (6 minute drive to downtown Doylestown), clean room, and bathroom, comfortable mattresses. Friendly staff at the front desk.

Cons: A little outdated, squeaky bed, outlet and light by bed didn't work, a little pricey.
