Good value if visting the university area.

Pros: It is situated in the university campus. Very quiet, with good view. The room is not big, but very comfortable.

I felt like I was a student living on campus again! With the good and the bad :-) Would stay again

Pros: The location is absolutely beautiful, I even saw a family of deer one evening! The room was ok, but pretty basic. It made sense, as it used to be university halls.

Cons: No breakfast! There are no easy options for breakfast nearby, so it would be very worthy to provide a breakfast option at the Inn! The heater/air con was automatic, and it was an unuasually few hot days, so it was it was set to heat up when it was actually very hot already!

Pros: the reception is very friendly and willing to help.

Cons: the bathroom door is broken, and the shower has fungus smell.

Great location if you have work within NB campus.

Pros: Location. Value-for-money. Good supportive staff (and student workers)

Cons: Inability to resolve issues with duplicate booking. Not acknowledging emails sent earlier that clearly indicated that the bookings were duplicated and one should be canceled. Booking.com being the bigger culprit. A small cafe/breakfast option would have been perfect.

Good value for your money close to town.

Pros: The place has its years, but it is still comfortable. Rooms are of a good size. Ours had 2 double beds, with good mattresses, pillows and linen. There is a minifridge, microwave and coffee machine. The hotel is in a quiet, secluded area, next to one of Rutgers's campuses, but only a 5 min. drive to downtown New Brunswick.

Cons: A/C unit was a bit loud, you may have to give it a few gentle knocks so it doesn't vibrate.

Comfortable, quiet property, with all the appropriate amenities. Safe, secure and well priced.

Pros: The bed and bedding were very comfortable, the view the room was a mowed field, brush and a tree line. Lovely and quiet. I lived in East Brunswick for decades and would not stay at any East Brunswick facilities. The New Brunswick hotels are all fancier larger properties. The Rutgers Inn was “ just right “. At checkin I was asked to initial a three night stay. I explained to the gentleman, my dog was having emergency surgery that day, and depending on recovery, I might need to leave a day early if he was discharged. He said “ no problem,” but at check out I was charged for the unused night. I have addressed this with the property directly, and hope for a favorable reply. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. I look forward to using it again. I was married at Kirkpatrick Chapel. and my husband was a graduate of Cook College. Many happy memories!

Dreaming on the university years

Pros: You can observe deers on the backyard. Very helpful staff ready to help you with your requests. There is a dining hall nearby (students are the most frequent visitors) where you can have breakfast and lunch with the variety of food for a reasonable price (vegetarian options). In a walking distance to the city, also you can use a free (?!) shuttle bus. You get a free entrance to the university swimming pool and gym

Cons: For two separate beds the room is too small

Pros: We were very happy to have a great place to stay in walking distance of the music building on campus. We were visiting our son who is a doctoral student.

Cons: The woman on the other side of the wall had her phone on speaker until midnight. Long loud conversation in the next room. Not the responsibility of Rutgers, but very frustrating.
