Murray Hill East Suites - Extended Stay

Pros: The service and courtesy of the staff were excellent. The studio room is very functional for a long stay and meets all daily needs. The hotel’s location deserves a rating of 10. The hotel also offers a laundry room and a gym for guests’ use. In short, highly recommended.

Cons: The furniture is somewhat dated but very functional

Nice and comfortable extended stay

Pros: Great location, near Grand Central train station (6-7 min by foot) and subway station. Room's windows get to the street, but it was still quiet. All necessary amenities were provided. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice and helpful personnel.

Cons: Cleaning service should be improved. Some furniture requires modernization, f.i. kitchen, where there were only very basic equipment and tools. Very bad smell on the corridors (also because of the neighbour's cooking)

I would stay again!

Pros: I stayed here for a hospital rotation at NYU so proximity was ideal, and it is also close to grand central station. The 24 hours hosts/doorman/staff made me it feel like home. They were available, kind, and it felt safe as well. The once weekly housekeeping service was a big bonus (and I am glad to have booked this apartment rather than an airbnb which I deliberated over a long time, as airbnb does not include regular cleaning service or hosts on site at all times). The furniture and kitchen is old, the kitchen is small, but it didn't matter as the room (junior suite) was very spacious (bed area, large dining area and living space, partitioned off kitchen) to feel really comfortable and spread everything out.

Cons: The only downside which might just be a manhattan-wide issue is that the roads are noisy and ear plus for sleeping are a must!

The most comfortable stay in NYC

Pros: It was the most comfortable stay in NYC among all other places we had stayed in. The staff was very polite, professional and helpful, and catered to our every need. Special mention and thank you to Mr Ray and Mr Marion, who made our stay a very enjoyable one! Highly recommend and we will surely be back again!

Pros: location was perfect, close to grand central and a few blocks away from all the downtown touristy places and office.. staff was exceptional.

Cons: It was a good stay and i cannot recollect anything that i did not like. The hotel couldnt have saved me from new york weather but they tried to do all that they could :)

A great value for money, friendly and reliable safe hotel ideal for longer term stays in a great location.

Pros: Murray Hill East Suites is located in an excellent quiet and safe area close to Grand Central Station and surrounded by a great range of restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities. They have a wonderful team in all areas of the hotel that are friendly, very professional, and only to happy to help with any requests or assistance. They also have a 24*7 reception allowing you to easily come and go as you need, whilst also seek assistance if needed at any time. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and provide an environment with your own kitchenette, large bedroom/living area and separate bathroom to enjoy longer term stays in comfort. Whilst the hotel may not be as modern and have the same level of facilities as newer hotels, it provides a reliable and great value for money experience for longer term stays.

Cons: The kitchenette would benefit from more modern and newer utensils and cooking facilities, but this is a very minor thing compared to the excellent overall experience and value for money.

A great 6 weeks stay, I’ll be telling my friends how good it was.

A nice place to stay

Pros: It was the location I needed and I was familiar with. The staff are very nice and kind. The room was large and confortable. The laundry room was very practical, even though some machines were not working. This is my second stay here.

Cons: The month of September was hotter than usual and the room where I stayed ( # 1006 ) and the air conditiong strengh was not cold enough, just a little cool and enough to get adequate dry air. Even though the maintenance guy and I tried different ways to fix this, it didn't improve much. Also, I had to call 2 weeks after I checked out because apparently, they had forgottent to reimburse my security deposit but with my call, the reimbursement was processed right away.
