Very enjoyable.

Pros: Kenneth the host was very welcoming and friendly, lovely accommodation, great breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed not having television and the range of games available in the games room. The lounge area is beautiful and the house and garden is stunning.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Interesting, historical type house; with old style furnishings.

Pros: The house was wonderfully clean, and the presentation was amazing. The fresh roses in the room were a very special touch. The trip was for my mother's birthday. The three yellow roses beautifully displayed in our room reminded us of my maternal grandmother as they were her favorite. The owner was so friendly, charming, and humorous, definitely making the stay feel like home or a happy visit to a relative. The breakfast was wonderful and we couldn't help but go for seconds of the delicious eggs. The location is highly versatile and convenient. Depending on which route you take, you could feel completely in a tranquil escape from the busy life. And yet another route will show you you're surprisingly less than five minutes from the vibrant city. All in all, we can't wait for our next visit.

Cons: Honestly, there isn't anything I can think of.

A wonderful place for a weekend for those who want a NYC escape.

Pros: Room and decor are exceptionally beautiful, makes you feel in the late 19th to early 20th century, movie like environment. Breakfast was great, the omelet with vegetables and cheese was a morning treat. As well as the many sitting places on the ground floor which support friendly engagement with other guests.

Cons: The shower could have been better, but given the effort to conserve the historical look and feel I get the difficulty in balancing this act.

A property with character

Pros: I loved the history of the house and that this feeling has been complemented by the decor of the house. There is a beautiful outdoor space that you can enjoy as well as the rooms downstairs. The breakfast was delicious

Cons: The only draw back is it’s proximity to a busy road.

Gorgeous house inside and out

Pros: Picture perfect house with lovely furnishings. Ken does a great job, warm and welcoming - and great eggs. The house was everything we hoped for and more

Period home for restful enjoyment.

Pros: What a gem! Delightful classic home to spend a day or more relaxing in the country. We had a Tesla and super appreciated the charger! However, the atmosphere is the greatest reason to stay here. The main living area is a visual delight. I tapped on the piano a bit. We were alone in the house. The breakfast was a great start to the day, along with coffee. For dinner, it was a quick trip into Lancaster for a delightful dining experience. Our host had a great recommendation list. The tree covered hill setting with an outdoor porch set the tone for the experience. Thanks.

Cons: Nothing was a problem. What's not to like when you have the entire house to yourselves!!! Great to be lucky.

Beautiful home and we loved it

Pros: I loved the history of the house and felt like going back in time. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfast was also very good. Enjoyed our time there very much.

Cons: The only down side was our room was on third floor and it was difficult for me to climb all those stairs. But other than that we had an amazing stay.
