After Eight Bed and Breakfast

After Eight was Great!

Pros: The breakfast and location were great! The decor was very beautiful - we went at Christmas time and it was tastefully decorated.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Enjoyed Robert telling us a little info each am about what the menu was and about his cookbook. I was concerned with the B & B being on such a busy road but as it turned out we didn't hear the noise as bad as we thought we would.

Cons: Would like to have had a firmer mattress and extra pillow at night to prop up for TV. Would have enjoyed the grounds to have a little more to offer

Pros: Home was beautiful, good breakfast had coffee and snacks for all day

Cons: Wished the front porch was fixed for seating. Would have been nice to set and watch traffic.

Very pleasant and enjoyable.

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was great because it was very close to the Sight and Sound Theater.

If you prefer B&B's to hotels, After Eight will delight you.

Pros: Everything about After Eight was exceptional. Robert is a terrific host - friendly, attentive and the chef of a wonderful breakfast, included with the room cost. The room had all a person might want, though, as hotel-stayers, we wished there was an in-room fridge. There was one in the breakfast area to be shared with other guests. In particular, the private bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen in any kind of hotel/b&b etc.

Cons: For an older guy and a disabled vet, having to lug my luggage up a few stairs to the entrance was a bit tough. Hardly a bad mark against Robert since I had neglected to mention that I have trouble with stairs. We managed, so no harm, no foul.

Vacation to Landcaster

Pros: We loved everything about this place. Very clean and quiet. Robert, our host, cooked a delicious breakfast every morning.

Pros: The house was warm and cozy and every amenity was available. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Robert is an excellent host!

Cons: No one complaint from me!

Pros: Centrally located, charming with nice decor, excellent customer service and delicious breakfasts.

Cons: Truck noise from the road out front is very noisy.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. But having an established time for Breakfast doesn't work if you have to leave early. But all the extras like pop, popcorn, cookies made up for it!

Cons: Having a place to iron.
