We had a good stay overall.

Pros: The location is super convenient for visiting our daughter and her family.

Cons: Due to cold, wet weather, the path to our door was very icy for several days. Salt would have been helpful.

We had a really wonderful stay at the private studio--comfortable bed and nicely furnished space!

Pros: The location was perfect for a family celebration in the area! The king bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent, the room darkening curtains were great, and the setting was quiet, private, and peaceful. The host was responsive, helpful, and kind. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The refrigerator and freezer were the perfect size, and we were very happy to have a microwave and a good coffee maker. Check -in and check-out were extremely smooth. I asked ahead of time about parking and was told to park on the street, which could be part of the check-in instructions.

Cons: We did not know ahead of time that we would need K-cup pods for the coffee maker (we brought ground coffee from home that we couldn't use). It would make the first morning easier if the host could provide coffee pods or instruct guests to bring their own pods for a Keurig coffee maker. Also, the Host should tape a sign on the front of the microwave warning guests not to run the microwave and the coffee maker at the same time, as this blew a fuse. Fortunately, the host was on location and responded immediately to reset the circuit breaker and restore power to that outlet. Once we were able to make that first cup of coffee, it was delicious, so the coffee maker is a clear winner! We brought our own extension cords and needed them both, but that's not on everyone's packing list, so it would be a nice gesture for the host to provide extension cords so both bedside tables could have power.
