Great location and value for money

Pros: Awesome location, it feels very authentic because you're not in the crazy centre of NYC. Great room for the 3 of us, and the kitchen was super handy. Staff were lovely.

Excellent escape in the big city

Pros: The location was perfect for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn without the crowds. The staff was very attentive (and flexible with my late arrival and departure) but gave me my space. A spacious apartment and very comfortable bed allowed me an opportunity to properly rest without the noise I expected from a big city.

Cons: I cannot complain about anything. I really enjoyed my week in The East Village at Sanctuary Retreats. If I were to visit NY again, I’d choose to stay here. Top choice!

Pros: Good location. Close to metro. Convenient eating places nearby.

Cons: A little sketchy at night, but perhaps that's just NYC in general. A little messy outside with garbage waiting to be picked up. Once cleared, much better.

Feeling at home in NYC

Pros: We felt at home, the apartment was clean and charming and the kitchen was very well equipped. Sable, one of the managers, was very kind and accomodated all our requests. I highly recommend it!

NYC Xmas trip

Pros: Superb apartment for family of five, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, hot powerful shower, quiet at night, excellent wifi. Staff couldn't have been more helpful on our last day, keeping bags until 5pm meant we got a full extra day. Can't rate this place highly enough, 8 mins walk from Subway, then 7 stops to 5th Ave. You can also get to JFK from the local subway stn. Nice coffee shops and cafes in the area and felt safe day and night. Late night check in was a doddle and the heaters innthe room were ferocious even at -10 outside. Will be recommending to anyone else travelling in a group to NYC. .

Cons: Nothing, couldn't fault a thing.

Fabulous place, very clean, would recommend to others

Pros: We loved our stay here. We were in the Raja room. The staff were lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Cons: The one and only negative I have is how loud the air con/ heating unit in the room was. Luckily we always sleep with earplugs in so it didn’t disturb sleep but it could get a little annoying during the day.

Pros: This is a wonderful hotel with very welcoming service. It's clean, cozy, the room is spacious, the mattresses are very comfortable, the linens are pristine white, and there's all the necessary tableware for preparing a light romantic dinner. The location is convenient, the soundproofing is good, and it's quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it.

Cons: That didn't happen. I liked everything very much.
