Vista Lodge Benton PA near Ricketts Glen State Park

Will definitely return :-)

Pros: The cabins are absolutely adorable! The property is breathtaking and very easy to find.

Overall very comfortable for what we needed.

Pros: It was very convenient to ricketts glen and Benton for antique shopping.

Cons: The lights from other houses across from our cabin shining into the front door and i saw many cabins undo door curtain. There was some traffic noise at 6 am that woke me up. The futon is nice if needed but we found slippery and not very comfortable for sitting long term.

Worth the $

Pros: Quiet and clean. Great location for hiking, fishing, and local winery and breweries.

Pros: Great, well-maintained property. Owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, quiet.

Pros: Cute little cabins close to Ricketts Glen SP. Cabin 5 was very clean, only 2 other cabins were occupied during our stay. Bed was comfortable, and there were linens so we could sleep on the futon in the main living area. Just FYI, after we booked we received notice that upon our arrival we would need to turn on the water heater and the refrigerator. We had hot water for showers within an hour. Small fridge cooled down quickly. Great stay!

Pros: Place is kind of new, clean, accept dogs and have plenty of parking. There is a Dollar General very close with everything you may need. I'm definitely returning to it in another opportunity, bringing my own towels next time =]

Cons: There are some thing to adjust that I'm going to mention below, but not enough to not return to the place, still good place to stay. - Towels were terrible, the ones placed for use in the bathroom were with mold and very worn. We bought some in Dollar Family store nearby, when we came back to the place to take a shower, I was looking for a hair drier and found much better condition towels in the closet. - Place has a portable/camping eletric stove. It's not strong enough to cook meat properly. - Last issue we had was the AC/Heater, it was very cold when we stayed there, so we were using the heating mode. There is one unit in the living room and one in the bedroom. The one in the living room was making a very loud noise, can drive you crazy. Luckily was not the bedroom one.

Okay for price, costs cut by them

Pros: Location was beautiful, check-in was easy, little more private

Cons: Heat didn't work well if at all, heat in shower doesn't last longer than 30 minutes, soap and dish soap watered down almost impossible to use, costs definitely cut in spots that show, bed had some hair and a stain

Pros: This is our second time staying at this location. Our family enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor seating, and games. We also enjoyed the cozy cabins. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was the perfect size for our family of four.

Highly recommend Vista Lodge

Pros: The Vista Lodge is a quaint country styled setting of cottages. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The covered pavilion patio area offers a firepit, tables and corn hole games. Very pleased with our stay.

Pros: Nice concept, clean stand alone units close to Ricketts glen. Reasonable priced
