Delightful farm house for a family gathering

Pros: Very spacious house. Plenty of linens and towels. Good heating system. Very close to Lancaster City. The host left Lancaster County treats and had a binder with local information

Cons: The windows facing towards building / street lights need either blinds, or a second set of curtains that block the lights. Most curtains were sheer or lace.

Pros: This charming 100-year-old home transports you back in time, perfect for those seeking a nostalgic escape, not a typical hotel stay. Beautifully preserved with wooden floors and wallpapered walls, it comfortably hosted our family of 12 for a fantastic weekend. The five well-appointed rooms and spacious kitchen easily accommodated us all. Ample parking and a nearby working dairy farm enhance the experience, set against serene cornfields on a quiet country road. For an authentic Lancaster area visit, this is the ideal spot. Highly recommended!

Very nice and wholesome place

Pros: The home was very warm and inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for our group meals. 8 of us were traveling from Ohio and reserved this home for our PA renfaire visit. We had a wonderful time. The two dobermans that walked up to us as soon as we parked were so precious. They came carrying bones, sniffed us out, then went back to patrolling the grounds. Such well behaved babies.

Cons: Would have preferred access to filtered water.

Pros: Spacious, unique and clean. Great location to surrounding activities. The hosts are very nice.

Cons: It is a working farm with animals. Not a dislike, just something to consider.

Pros: Love the farmhouse and all it has to offer. We felt right at home. The kitchen and bedrooms were perfectly supplied and very comfortable and clean.

Cons: Nothing. Well maybe a little getting used to the manure smell but a couple of days and ya get used to it 😀

Pros: Location was beautiful, house was very roomy, and the owners were very kind and gave us great recommendations for things to do.

Cons: Nothing really, except for that one strange run-in with that one lady but we kinda just laughed it off so it’s all good.

Very nice place and very convenient.

Pros: We like the location as we were playing volleyball at Spooky Nook and it was close. There was plenty of room in the house. We were left a welcome basket of goodies as well. All appliances etc were in great working order.

Cons: The one front bedroom was cold. It was on a corner of the house and it was cold while we were there but other than that all was good

Pros: Die Lage war hervorragend für das Sportevent der Kinder in Spooky Nooks. Sherrie war eine tolle Gastgeberin, antwortete schnell und hat uns mit Köstlichkeiten überrascht. Für uns hat alles perfekt gepasst!
