Perfect for visit to Storm King Arts Center and the Hudson Highlands

Pros: Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

Pros: The made to order breakfast and the how the inn keepers made you feel like you were home.

Pros: It was so homey. The innkeepers were so nice and accommodating. We also loved seeing Roy! Also the scenery I gorgeous.

Charming place, charming owner

Pros: A very pretty place. We arrived very late and left very early so we never met the owner. But over the phone, she was very pleasant and made it easy for us to gain entrance at the late hour. The house is beautifullly decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were good quality. Since we left so early in the morning, we didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I'd love to go back again when I can stay a bit longer, meet the owner, and really enjoy the place. Highly recommend.

Pros: Troy was an exceptional host and went out of his way to welcome us and to make us feel so comfortable. He actually called us before our arrival to tell us he might be away from his desk and on property and to contact him on his cell when we arrived. He made a wonderful breakfast that was included in the price of the Bed & Breakfast. He was always available and brought us extra pillow and a duraflame log as we requested. He was available 24/7 which was more that we expected. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge and the shower was hot. They supplied soaps and shampoo which was unexpected and a great perk. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back to stay again.

Pros: Our breakfast was good. A little surprised there were no table settings at any of the tables when you went in for breakfast. The chef gave you your utensils when he brought your breakfast.

Cons: At the visitor in the room next to ours wasn’t snoring so loudly we could hear him through the walls. It was a little disturbing not the owners fault.

Night two of a two-night vacation. It was relaxing and peaceful. I would stay here again.

Pros: Location near Storm King Art Center. Good point of access to other attractions as well. Beautiful grounds. Very peaceful.

Cons: No complaints. I would note that there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance, but I knew that in advance.
