Wonderful highly recommend

Pros: The staff where friendly, very comfortable, and located near nice places to visit. The staff where very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. The restaurant was also very good.

Cons: Slightly dated and lack of power sources in room.

It's obvious that they care

Pros: It was clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to meet all of my needs. The on-site restaurant was convenient. There was entertainment (comedy performances) in the pub which would have been great but we had other plans and could not attend. Finally even though it was in the center of town there was plenty of free parking and no street noise after midnight.

Cons: Realizing that it is a historic inn the bathroom was large but the toilet was very low to the floor with no handicap bars. This was difficult but not impossible, however I could not use the bathtub/shower due to the lack of handicap assistance bars, shower seat and the depth of the tub. But these things should not be a problem for people without handicaps. The electric plug for the night stand lamp on the right side of the bed did not work. But there were plenty of other lamps. Finnaly I am hesitant to mention this last item because it has nothing to do with the inn, but the second night I had horrible nightmares.

Great hotel!

Pros: The location is great if you want to visit the surrounding Amish communities. We've stayed here before and loved the hotel and the bar food! The room was comfortable and the a/c worked very well.

Cons: We got the same room as last year, it definitely needed a little TLC on some of the furnishings.

Quiet, comfy stay in a quaint hotel

Pros: Really cool old building in a nice, quiet location and excellent breakfast included. It was fun to se and hear the horse and buggies go right by my window. Very nice little town in such beautiful country, rolling hills.

Perfect!

Pros: Every thing was, clean, convenient, w/friendly staff, had lunch at the bar.... delicious! Prices reasonable, wonderful stay, will return 😊

A nice place to stay.

Old school, friendly place.

Pros: We had a good room with a four-poster bed. While some of the furniture was tired and some wallpaper peeling off in the bathroom, it had character and charm. Breakfast was limited, but OK - you even got a ceramic coffee mug, which is something for the USA. The breakfast room was nice, overlooking the garden. They have a restaurant serving decent food and good beers. The staff we met were cheerful and helpful.

We were only there for one night and found the staff and facilities good. We would have left a tip for housekeeping but

Pros: It is a lovely hotel, quaint and like an English country hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: The breakfast was poor, when we arrived for breakfast there was hardly anything there and you had to search for everything.

Amish country hotel

Pros: The hotel is great, the staff were excellent. We ate at the bar, the food was really good and a nice selection of beers. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was clean and the shower was hot and powerful! The buffet breakfast is good. Get there early!

Cons: Everything was good.

great value, comfortable stay

Pros: Large room with two Queen beds, comfortable, friendly helpful staff, clean, for us well located to our destination, functional,good value

Cons: a little bit tired
