The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark

Great ROI

Pros: You basically don't pay for the room. because what we paid was the price of a one day pass in the water park. Extremely good ROI, very smarty designed room, with the bunk bed sections.

Cons: A breakfast included in a moderately increased price would have been great.

Fun adventure with kids!

Pros: This is our 4th year going to Kartrite and as a venue for little children especially in the winter months we really like it. The water park is great without being too big and overwhelming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. It’s a great little getaway close to the city - Kids love it!

Cons: The food and food options could be improved

Pros: I loved that they had numerous activities for the kids all day into the evening. I like that you could bring your own food and drinks due to the high price of food inside the resort.

Cons: The food was way overpriced for the type of food they're serving. Minimal options for food. You're better off buying food outside the resort

Pros: everything very nice and clean the staff when we arrived very friendly

Cons: I didn't like at all how a woman attended to us when I went to order some drinks, she was very rude and also took all the time she wanted and then she attended to me and all because she was talking to the other woman who was working with her

Pros: Everything was awesome! This has been one of our best family vacations! The water park is awesome - very nice interior,.a lot of natural sunlight, fun rides, and amazing lifeguards on duty. The hotel is also awesome, the rooms are spacy,. comfortable and well maintained! The arcade games and activities were awesome and our family had a blast! We are definitely returning!

Nice hotel for a couple of days with kids

Pros: Good value for money for what we expected. 2 days of fund for the kids in the slides and in the water. Hotel was clean and well maintained.

Cons: Check in was really late - got our room at 1830 while official check in is at 1600 - that's way late. Also for a modern hotel I would expect to decrease the amount of plastic used for the food&beverage all around

Pricey for everything on site. Closed restaurants and no staff at bars

Pros: It wasn't too crowded when we went, and there was a Pirate themes so my boys liked that.

Cons: Many of the shops and bars were closed until the afternoon. I went to the bar in the main lobby and by the arcade a few times after 3PM and there were no bartenders. I had to go to the waterpark bar to get a drink. Some of the restaurants are open on the weekends and others only open in the evenings. Prices for everything are pretty high. Hidden resort fees almost half the cost of a nights stay. Just put all the fees up front and don't surprise your guests with a folio that's double the original price.

Very Expensive!

Pros: 2 full days at the waterpark are included with your overnight stay.

Cons: Price is outrageous for 1 night.

Relaxing

Pros: Clean and well heated with a huge indoor/outdoor hot tub and indoor waterpark. Nice restaurant downstairs

Cons: Preordered cheese and fruit platter never arrived. The charge was removed from the bill, so it’ ok, but could be better.
