FairBridge Inn and Suites West Point

Pros: We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.

Pros: Easy reservation process. My room was right at the top of the stairs with the heat already on. I appreciated the care & concern. The amenities in the room were perfect for my short stay. Great comfort.

Quiet and restful.

Pros: Did not eat breakfast there, Location is very quiet. Restful.

Cons: Perfect for what I was expecting and what I needed for this trip.

Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location. The room was clean and tidy. Considering the area was hit with a disastrous flood a few years ago, only the pavement in the parking lot was effected. It was nothing fancy or updated but it was a solid hotel and the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Pricey though.

Pros: Proximity to West Point Football Stadium and Highland Falls.

Convenient Location and Nice Staff

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The owner was so accommodating to our very late check in. Will definitely stay again.

Cons: Door was very difficult to get locked. Exterior is outdated but we will absolutely stay again for the next USMA football season.

Best manager!

Pros: While the rooms may not be fancy, the manager, Augustine Shadab, could not have been better. When my rental car key fob battery died and I could not get the car doors open or the key fob, he found a video, opened it for me and not finding the skinny emergency key drove me to Walgreens found the right battery, and put it in saving my day!

If you are visiting West Point, NY and so on, Fairbridge Inn is an excellent choice.

Pros: The exterior condition of the property needs improvement. Finish construction and cleanup of parking lot. I had a more popular motel of the same town in mind. So this lodging was a second choice. I found it was a better value and roomier inside than the preferred motel.

Cons: I was quite pleased with the room and setting. It was quiet and comfortable! One electrical switch, however, did not work right.
