Appalachian Motel

Nice motel in a lovely town

Pros: The motel was very close by car to the center of the town, and the parking place was sufficient. The owners were very nice and helpful, the room was big, and it was good to have a microwave in the room. The shower was good, too - hot water is coming with a bit of wait (I saw this being mentioned in other reviews, so I found it important to mention that we had no problem with it).

Cons: The AC was indeed noisy, but I saw it in several places around the area. The checkout is also 10.30, despite what is written on Booking, or even in the room. This was not an issue for us as we left earlier, but please count with this. We also encountered with a very loud and aggressive guest who was shouting at 2am and didn't let us sleep. This is unfortunate, and not the fault of the motel, however this may be part of the motel experience around the world.

Pros: Location to mountain creek was amazing. Great for last minute ski storm trips.

Cons: No deadbolt

A lovely quiet country motel surrounded by beautiful mountains. A five star experience.

Pros: It is a wonderful, quiet, clean, safe motel surrounded by beautiful mountains and very close to the Appalachian Trail. My room is large and very comfortable with everything I need. There are stores and eateries very close by for anything anyone might need as well as ski resorts. I highly recommend this motel.

Cons: There is nothing to report. I have been very happy staying at this motel.

A motel in a beautiful location - a perfect place for a nice, comfortable stay.

Pros: The motel is in a beautiful location surrounded by mountains with breathtaking views. There's plenty of parking and the staff is very kind and accommodating. I can't think of a nicer place to stay. I have a large room with everything I could possibly need for my comfort. Every convenience is just a short distance away. I highly recommend this motel - it's the perfect place to stay.

Cons: I have no complaints about the motel - I can't think of anything that needs to be changed - It's a very nice, comfortable place to stay and relax.

Pros: Good location, convenient to stores and restaurants. Clean well maintained rooms, friendly staff, good price. 4th year staying here, only 6 minute drive from our family picnic.

Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. Plenty of space. Not crowded. Will definitely come back here.
