Americas Best Value Inn - Palmyra/Hershey

This is an older clean motel, well kept, comfortable, priced right and family run by honest people!

Pros: Decent access to the Hershey attractions. Willingness of the staff to be as helpful as possible, including taking my ice chest freezer packs and personally freezing them for me. They also called me promptly upon departure to let me know I had left a bag in the room, but when I authorized them to open it, turned out it was empty! Point is though, they called promptly which would have allowed me to go back to retrieve it had it been necessary! Also, this is a one story motel allowing easy access to the rooms.

Cons: The rooms are right on the road and some traffic noise can be heard. However, not so much to be truly bothersome and the bed was so comfortable it was easy to sleep anyway!

I would stay again.

Pros: Room and buildings looked good. Quiet room. Very clean Room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice looking fenced outside pool, but we did not use it.

Cons: More lighing in the room .

Close to Hersheypark

Pros: Greeted with a smile. Daily housekeeping No pretensions.

Good value for money, exactly what I was looking for.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed, hot shower with good towels, clean room, strong wifi, good working space. I have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Great value motel, located in the heart of Hershey land, good place for touring central Pennsylvania

Pros: Friendly staff, nice room size, good bathroom, easy access, great value

Cons: My wife would have liked a slightly lower bed!

Good value for a short stay

Pros: The staff was very friendly and very nice. The room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Was very easy to find.

Cons: The bed/pillows were super uncomfortable. The AC kept shutting off. The bathroom had a very strong odor of mold. The water pressure was very weak.

Basic but all we need

Pros: We stay here yearly for a local event and have never had a bad stay.

Cons: The people above us were loud but that's not really the hotel's fault.

We had a very nice stay here while visiting family. Loved the closeness to country sites.

Pros: Breakfast was good with homemade waffles and hot eggs, cereal and oatmeal and such. Coffee was excellent. They use Styrofoam cups which I wish they would switch to paper cups.

Enjoyed the stay. Good location.

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous.
