Pros: Beautiful and so close to Boiling Springs where my sister lives.

Pros: The Pine Lodge was lovely with lots of sunlight both in our room and the common area. We ate a booth in the bar, and the bartender was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Only two rooms in the Lodge appeared occupied. The only other guests were placed in the room right above ours. There was no insulation between floors, so we could hear everything from 6am on. They were very noisy guests (lots of walking at 6am), and we could hear everything the night before and that morning. It would have been nice to have been more spaced out with so few occupants.

We love Allenberry. We had our reception here 33yrs ago. The price for the rooms allowed us tostay

Pros: Restaurant and Bar staff were amazing. We went to lunch at the cafe. After waiting 1hr and still not food Cole stepped up and assisted the staff. He changed our experience and we left happy

Cons: We stayed in the Stone Lodge - sheets the first night were rough and bally. The ice machine functioned but took way too long to produce ice. Never got enough. The receptionist staff on were not the best. Pleasant but not able to think outside the box or find solutions.

Beautiful property

Pros: Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, plenty of space to walk and enjoy the sunrise and early morning.

Cons: Our room was loud, with a neighbor below us banging on the floor or ceiling 3 different times when we were in our room. 2 of those times while we were asleep. The walls seemed paper-thin. We have liked each of our other rooms, this one was fine, other than hearing our very loud neighbor.

Awesome experience, highly recommend the place!

Pros: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience thanks to the incredible hotel manager, Justin E, who went above and beyond to make our stay and my birthday celebration truly special. From the moment we arrived, they were kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The manager was so kind, accommodating, and thoughtful which made our stay unforgettable and made us feel so valued as guests. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in ensuring every detail is perfect — Justin’s hospitality set the tone for a stay we’ll always remember. Highly recommend this resort, not only for its comfort and quality but for the exceptional manager and people who make it shine! Modernized rooms and home but with the charm from 1800s Nearby activitiesFly fishing!

Cons: We stayed in the historic cottage which was fully equipped, luxurious, modernized kitchen, with an awesome front porch we enjoyed our cofee in the morning and relaxed at the end of the day. The porch was overlooking the lawn, trees and creek. We tried and fully enjoyed fly fishing at the creek for the first time and it’s was excellent experience. Thank you Justin! We appreciate everything you did for us!

Pleasently Surprised - Very nice hotel!

Pros: Everything was very nice, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was a bit old fashioned but also very clean and charming. There were a few cracks on the ceiling and walls but they were minimal and a non factor.

Cons: Maybe a bit more appetizers on the menu. But the food we did order was great. We sat outside on the lower floor and the poor waiter had to go up and down the stairs to order our food and bring it to our table. It did take quite a while but the staff did inform us before seating us that this was the case.

beautiful property, relaxing spot, nice rooms that are quiet

Pros: We stayed at AR twice over 7 days, we travelled up north and tried it once going and liked it so much, we stayed there on our return trip. Great outdoor space, resturant, and the Pine Lodge was lovely.

Cons: both times the showers were not great, poor pressure, so showering was tough

Pros: Beautiful property, great having restaurants On-site and food was good!

Cons: Our shower did not, no pressure at all. AND they overcharged me by $11, I contacted the property...they should reimburse
