Glenwood Inn - Stroudsburg

I’m hoping to stick around here a little longer but so far I’ve felt very comfortable and safe here

Pros: What a perfectly and BEAUTIFULLY located hide away really!!! And so interested in learning more about the history of this place! The front building is absolutely stunning the owner who came right up to me when I got there (and was so sweet) told me it was built in the 1800s!

Cons: It’s a little older but I love it that it’s a family owned and run business!!

Pros: The property is well past its heyday but the staff are extremely sweet and the grounds are vest if not completely run down. The rooms were recently refurbished I would say rather cheaply however clean and comfortable and excellent place for the price again the staff was so sweet kind of made up for everything else

Cons: The grounds are so bad that even the lawn chairs were missing slats the tennis courts were completely disheveled and obviously unused and when you pull in is a large building I guess from when it was a large fancy place and it looks like the Bates Motel but when you turn to the right it looks like they made like all these trailers on the location the least they could do is update the lawn chairs around the fire pits otherwise comfortable quiet convenient

Best place to get rest and enjoy

Pros: I loved the area as it was close to stores restaurants gas stations and parks.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that online it didn't state the pool and Jacuzzi wasn't operating until you got to the location and booked it, but I do understand that it was only due to renovations.

Cons: Booking's site had said basically 'write a note if you need to check in later'. I did, mentioning that we wouldn't be arriving until late because our flight didn't land until midnight. No response from motel. Forgot about it, because of traveling chaos. Then while we were on our flight, 10 minutes before the office closed, a man called my call phone and left a message wondering where we were. The second we arrived (12:45), I called back. The man did answer the phone (bonus points for that?), but was quite rude. So, either leave a message on and don't answer, or be ready to answer the phone in the middle of the night as if you're running a business.

A nice clean and comfortable place

Pros: Easy to check in. The room was close by and ground level. Nice and warm in the room on a very cold night. Water pressure is very nice and plenty hot too. Room is a good size and very clean. TV is not so large, but they have a lot of good channels. There is a small fridge in the room. Bed is very comfortable.

Cons: Nothing wrong. It's a fine basic accommodation.
