Best Western Plus Horseheads - Elmira

This hotel is very welcoming and we had a wonderful stay.

Pros: The location was good for where we needed to go. It was a very new hotel which we enjoyed. We do not like old, run down hotels.

Perfect for my Christmas family visit, close to where I needed to be. Felt safe, place very clean.

Pros: Facility and room was very clean and new, better than expected. Very comfortable room. Had everything I needed for a holiday visit with family. Would definitely stay here again.

All was great, except for that inconvenience that at 12am when we arrived after a long trip and a winter storm going on,

Pros: All was clean, great breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Cons: Property says it’s 24/7 service, but when I arrived there was nobody to receive us. All was empty with not staff.

Pros: 4 hours away from home and 4 hours to New York. Great place to rest before long drive

Stayed for teen girl birthday party.

Pros: The breakfast was very good. Im not a big pork sausage eater though. The scrambled eggs were very delicious. The room was very clean. I did have to ask the front desk for a blanket an pillow due to sleeping on the pull out couch. There weren't any in the closet.

Cons: The pool was down for maintenance., both Friday and Saturday.

Pros: Breakfast was good - decent options. Staff was excellent and they were very pleaseant, and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We did like that the beds were on a platform.

Cons: Location was a bit rough - not easy to really get back there - odd location. Walls (especially in the bathroom - probably more through the vents) - we could hear everything going on in the next room.

Pros: I enjoyed the assortment of breakfast items, including blueberry waffles. Wish they had a ice machine at the beverage station.

Cons: There was no ice machine on level two. On level three the room above 212 was walking around and it was very noisome. The parking lot lines are painted very thinly when we arrived late Friday night early Saturday morning all of the spots were taken because people were parked crooked. We also put in a request for a wake up call so we would not miss our flight for 2:20 AM the don’t know if it was issue with the phone or if they forgot.

I would stay there again.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, it was brand new, very good location, close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast had a good variety of items. We enjoyed the warm inside pool.

Cons: Fire alarm going off early morning a few times in my 2 day stay. There seemed to be a malfunction of the system. Good that there was no fire but I was on edge.
