Comfort Inn Dunmore - Scranton East

Very nice and Clean

Pros: Recently renovated, the rooms are very clean and welcoming! You can feel the welcoming and clean atmosphere.

Cons: I had to pay $25 extra to stay at the hotel earlier and not at 3pm! I found it strange because I didn't know before and it wasn't mentioned.

Good value for your money, and convenient place to stop if you're on the road.

Pros: It was a very convenient location given my road travel toward NY. The hotel answered all my questions prior to my visit, check-in was straightforward, and the facilities were more than adequate relative to the cost. The nice big supermarket right across the way is a bonus as well.

Cons: I travelled on a motorcycle, and had to leave the bike parked in the lot in front of the hotel. I was unsure about the safety of this, as the area the hotel is in does not seem very well lit and I'm not familiar with the neighbourhood. However, the hotel does appear to have someone regularly posted outside, which was reassuring.

Would stay there again

Pros: Convenient to the interstate, local stores and restaurants.

Quick stay

Pros: Check-in was quick and the front desk was friendly. The breakfast was good. Scramble eggs, sausage and waffles.

Cons: There was no pool, hot tub, or restaurants

Pros: Good location. Easy off and back on to interstate. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Breakfast choices could have been better.
