Don’t be put off, the rooms have been done very nicely and it was a good stop half way through my journey.

Pros: Very surprised considering the outside of the motel. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable.

Cons: I was very apprehensive driving into the motel as it didn’t look very nice from the outside and the reception smelt really bad.

Pros: Very nice vibe, quiet, and breakfast nearby and close to Mt. creek!

Over all was good stay for the price.

Pros: No breackfast, was not included. was okay not to much on that.

Cons: some carpet on floor instead of tile. Tile was ok nice and clean. Door did not seal cold out very well.

I own a small business myself and travel constantly, and this is my favorite place to stay!

Pros: This was my second stay at the Sussex Motel and it was clean, warm and wonderful!

Cons: My only suggestion would be black out curtains.

We would stay there again and Jackie (the Manager/Owner) was so welcoming. The rooms were quiet.

Pros: This motel has a very cute throw back style decor. Our room had everything we needed and more.

Cons: Was close to a shopping center, but in fairness, the motel was there first.

We would stay there again.

Pros: Property was fine. Pool was not in use anymore, but that’s typical of many places these days.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property, but unfortunately the couple in the room next to ours were having some serious issues and had to eventually be removed. After that, the place was great!

Nice overnight stay

Pros: Great price for a clean comfortable room. Quant room to spend a night while traveling. Not many options in the area but we liked this one.

Great Motel

Pros: The ease of check in and out. I came in late and was accommodated exceptionally and the check out was a simple key return.

Cons: The only thing I'd change was the shower pressure. It was a little to hard for my taste but overall pleasant.

Very good!

Pros: I like this motel. It's very nice, thematic, all rooms are different (we booked two rooms), big, and comfortable. The staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful.
