Excellent accommodation and kind host

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming it really made a difference in our experience. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The facilities were excellent, and everything was just as described (or even better). We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely stay here again.

Pros: The accommodation was affordable. Staten Island is about a 25-minute ferry ride from Manhattan, and during every ride you get a close view of the Statue of Liberty. The apartment is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry, and on the way you can grab a bagel and coffee to enjoy with a view of Manhattan or directly on the ferry. The accommodation was pleasant, and Oleg was a great host — he waited for us until late in the evening when we arrived.

Cons: The accommodation is basically a renovated basement with low ceilings and one small window — taller people might find it uncomfortable. However, we knew what to expect, so it didn’t really bother us. The bathroom was quite small, but the beds were great, and we slept very well.

Nice property, large comfy beds, kept nice and warm when cold outside too

Pros: Host is really friendly. 12 minutes walk from the free Staten Island ferry to Manhattan. Bed was very comfortable.

Lovely and cosy place

Pros: The bed is very comfortable and such a lovely place. Oleg and his wife are so nice and gave us lovely suggestions.

Cons: The studio is in the bassement which is totally fine with us. But if you’re tall, it might be a bit complicated to move around.

Brilliant stay, lovely clean and very comfortable apartment, with the most welcoming hosts

Pros: The hosts were lovely, kept in contact very well, met us with the keys, even though our flight was very delayed and we got there much later than planned, the apartment was as described and very clean and comfortable, especially the beds, they were lovely and comfortable
