On the way to Bird in Hand

Pros: The hotel is located in Lancaster at the intersection of two streets. Despite its location, it is a quiet and cozy place. The room we rented was enough for four people. The rooms were well-kept and clean. We turned on the heating without any problems during a cold night. There is a corner with hot tea and coffee at the reception.

Cons: The main door closes at 11 p.m.

Pros: I liked the decor, especially the quilts in the rooms. The rocking chairs outside add a nice touch too.

Cons: Tip: please remove the shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers from in the shower. Both of us expected to use some of it and were disappointed that there was nothing. If you aren’t going to fill them, please remove them so we don’t get into the shower and find out there is nothing. A dispenser or jug with drinking water to fill our water would be great too. Of course breakfast would be nice but we went to Hudson botanical and really enjoyed theirs. Glad there was something nice nearby.

Can hardly wait to return!

Cons: An elevator

Relaxed and comfortable

Pros: The room was nice and big. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. Airconditionings works good. You can park in front of the hotel. It is easy to find your way around the hotel.

Cons: The rooms are a bit noisy.

Cozy country home

Pros: Quiet and friendly. We had a feeling we were in a home in the countryside.

Cons: The staff had difficulty finding our booking (maybe since it came through booking.com that same day). The staff needs more training in using the booking system.

Pros: The lady on reception was lovely. The room was quirky, but very comfortable with plenty of space to relax and rest. Good water pressure in the shower. Proximity to eateries was reasonable.

Cons: No tea making facilities in the room. No provisions for meals at all.

Pros: Very clean, nicely decorated. Coffee in lobby & nice rocking chairs on the porch.

Cons: A little older & worn. Could use an update.

Cons: A mini refrigerator and microwave would have been nice to have in room.
