Good value hotel in amazing town

Pros: The hotel is typical Hampton Inn chain hotel. Rooms are clean and there is plenty of room for 4 people. Comparing to other hotels from same chain, I would say the staff were even more nice and friendly than usual. There is plenty of parking spaces and the location of the hotel is great. The town of Media is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet, friendly and safe and you are quite near Philadelphia.

Cons: Standard issues with Hampton Inn... AC is either in standby or working very loudly. The breakfast is fine for a night or two. After that, there just isn't enough variety.

Great hotel close to Philadelphia but small and quaint town.

Pros: New, clean, well maintained hotel, grounds and rooms. The breakfast was on par with other hotels at this price point. Waffles, breads, juice, coffee, oatmeal and fruits.

Cons: There is not much negative to say about my stay. The fitted bed sheet seemed to be put on 90 degrees off (king bed) and the pillows did not have filling. We could have had housekeeping remake the bed and probably could have gotten more pillows but we managed. The only reason I mention it was to highlight this being the only negatives.

Pros: location was close to my job. Waffles at breakfast were good. Loved the complimentary tea in the lobby.

Cons: I wish i could have had a bath water didn't stay in tub, immediately drained. Wish breakfast had apple juice.

Worth coming back again

Pros: Breakfast was decent for the inclusion. Some Scrambled egg option, some meat option, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, toast/bagels/muffins, cereal, juice, hard boiled eggs some days. Room was clean and relaxing. I had some concerns about my shower head spraying erratically, and a built-in end table loose from the wall. They had maintenance fix it nest day. Room was clean, heat/cool worked great. Staff was great.

Cons: Hallway noise was heard in my room. One morning a guy was singing in hallway 5:20am. I did not appreciate that.

Good hotel overall, a little pricey

Pros: Spacious room, comfortable bed, fairly clean, microwave and mini fridge in the room, complimentary coffee and tea at reception, free parking.

Cons: The carpet in the room was quite dirty, my white socks were completely black after walking around a bit. Breakfast could be improved. I very much appreciated the fresh fruit but that was the only healthy option (though I realise not a lot of people are after healthy options). A little pricey.

Pros: Room clean. There is a lake outside, we did jogging in the morning.

I have always trusted Hampton Inns no matter where I may go. I would stay at this one in Media, Pa.

Pros: The location was perfect for the family event we were attending and was in close proximity to our relatives that live in Springfield, Pa. It was important that we had breakfast available to us each day. Unfortunately, on our last day, there had been a snow storm and the supply delivery had ben cancelled and the lady in charge was without some of her items--over which she had no control--but we made do with what was there and were satisfied.

Cons: The hallway carpeting appeared to not have been vacuumed for a good while--I let the manager know via text my thoughts about this. He took care of it the next day-- as it was night time after checking in. I was also not keen on the appearance of the indoor swimming pool, and chose not to join my grandchildren who absolutely loved it. It just didn't look that clean to me. I was disappointed not to go, but that was my choice.
