Old world charm and value for money in a great location.

Pros: I have stayed here several times. Its good value for money and has a fantastic location in the middle of Summit. You can walk to bars and restaurants, and to the train station. Breakfast is good and the rooms a comfortable and clean. They could do with a refresh, but its all part of its vintage charm. I would definitely recommend for value and charm.

Cons: Whilst the rooms were clean, they were not always cleaned every day, and sound proofing wasn't great with other guests were noisy - not that it was really an issue.

Great place to stay in a great location!

Pros: It was such a cozy place. The location was excellent and the place was so nicely done up and super clen. The staff was so so helpful and nice! It felt like staying at a friends place!

Cons: Would have loved maybe one or two hot dishes at breakfast - maybe scrambled eggs? But I am still not complaining and would stay again!

Pros: First of all, I cannot call this a hotel, this is the home of your friends house. The hotel staff are your friends who are your hosts and help you with everything. I will definitely come back again and I will recommend it to everyone. Be sure to have a coffee on the front terrace

Would recommend, a great little place to stay, in a nice town.

Pros: Helpful staff, good location, plenty of parking and an overall good place to stay.

Cons: It was a little dated in places and the breakfast wasn't the healthiest, but that seems common for the USA!

Pros: An attractive old building, beautifully restored and wonderfully fitted out as an hotel, in an excellent location for anyone wanting access to the main town of Summit. It is only a short walk to everything -- including the station. The breakfast included a varied set of appetizing options so that one did not have to have the same breakfast each day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I could not have been happier with my stay.

Pros: Beautiful historic American heritage Inn in the centre of Summit New Jersey. Like being at grandmas, really comfortable and friendly and also inspiring.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Breakfast provided was generous. Homely surroundings and atmosphere with authentic period of property. Rooms were clean. Staff went above and beyond to keep our luggage safe until we were able to get into our room.

Friendly and comfortable in a great location

Pros: Friendly unfussy service at check-in and throughout the stay. I enjoyed the breakfasts which were a pleasant crossover between American and continental style. Relaxing and homely decor. Very well situated in Summit, within easy walking distance of the NJ Transit station for frequent trains to NYC. Summit itself is a lovely town.
