Quiet retreat - ideal for visiting Amish country

Pros: The small cottages is located a bit off the main road, so it was very quiet. The landing strip was not used much, and when it finally was it was exiting to follow. It was a big room with plenty of space. There was an icebox outside where you could collect ice, when needed. This was a plus for us. It is situated quite close to all the Amish events going on, so ideal for that. Large parking space just outside the cottage, which only holds two rooms.

Cons: We could have needed a bit more light overall in the evening - and maybe a small lamp at the bathroom, so that you dont have to wake up eachother when using the toilet.

Nice stay once we waited hours for the room to warm up enough to be tolerable to sleep in. Would have been nice if the h

Pros: Although there was a small airport directly behind it, it was very quiet. Cottage was spacious and open. Looked well maintained.

Cons: When we arrived, it was 20* or less outside and freezing inside the room. It took 3 hours or more for it to warm up so we could sleep. We had to sit in the car with heat running for awhile before we could stand to go in the room. We are required to give arrival times, it would have been nice if someone would have turned on the heat at least a couple of hours before our arrival so it would be warm. Also, there were dirty marks and handprints on the back of the bathroom door that cleaning staff overlooked and dirt and debris under the bed and behind the nightstand. Other than that, good.

Pros: We stayed in a cottage. It was SO cute && so clean! It smelled brand new. The kids loved watching the planes take off!

Cons: we were saying if there were more amenities (a playground, hot tub, fire pit, pool, etc) we would def come back and stay for longer! We come to the area a few Dom’s a month & loved the cottage!

Nice place

Pros: The room looks pretty much like the pictures, about the size of an aberage hotel room. Very pleasant feeling in the room

Cons: The hvac wasn't turned on, so it was freezing in the room! We cranked it up and left for an eatly dinner because it was too cold to stay. It was nice and warm when we got back. The beds are creaky, but otherwise not too bad. Tgere is no hvac in the bathroom, so we gad to keep the door open when not in use to maintain temp.
