Pros: The host, Mo, was super friendly and very helpful. The victorian property is a bit dated, but this adds to the charm, check the gorgeous antique style radiators and the architecture of the property, awesome. Small park next door, and the B&B overlooks the harbour. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The entire property is spotlessly clean. Considering the high price of hotels in this area, the comparative low room price of Harbor House B&B, the breakfast was excellent,,,, Quality coffee, tea, juice, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cereal bars, cheese, croissant, English muffins, sweet muffins, and of course butter, jam & peanut butter. Lots of onstreet parking available. I never had to wait for the shared bathroom. No noise from other guests. Wi fi was good. 100% will stay here again.
Cons: Bedside lights did not work.

Pros: This hotel has a great view of the Manhattan skyline. It was wonderful to catch the (free) Staten Island ferry to Manhattan each day. We had a big bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. The host was very friendly but discrete, giving out useful information.
Cons: It is just a pity it wasn't an ensuite bathroom (but we knew that when booking) and it wasn't a bit closer to the ferry terminal (a bus ride away, approx 15 minutes on the S51).

would book here again
Pros: Beautiful view across the water onto Manhattan. Austen Museum next door was interesting and has a nice garden where anybody can sit and rest. Host was very accomodating. Stairs could be an issue if movement's restricted, otherwise fine. Shared bathrooms were clean and available even though other rooms on same floor were also booked. Plenty of little shops for daily needs in the area.

It was a delight to be there
Pros: The location is great, 7 minutes from the Staten Island Ferry with incredible view of the entire New York. The place was clean with the staff being friendly and very helpful. I'm sure I'll be back there again. Thank you Moe for your hospitality.

Pros: Friendly owner. I booked a room with a shared bathroom and they gave me a room with a private bathroom, overlooking the ocean and New York. When I woke up, I immediately saw the sunrise and the ocean.
Cons: Location

Fine American home stay experience with breakfast and wonderful view.
Pros: Friendly and quiet place to stay. Have wonderful view of Manhattan and Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Breakfast provides fruits, coffee, yogurt, muffin, bread, cheese, etc. I didn't expect this quality for American B&B! Well maintained clean room and shared bathroom. Coffee, tea, is free for all customer. 10min walk to Clifton MTA station to St. George Ferry terminal. If used train, it will give you one free subway ride in Manhattan. Good American home-stay experience, and if you like quiet place to stay away from city, I'd highly recommend.
Cons: in-room wash basin may need drain pipe cleaning.

Delightful antique home with incredible views.
Pros: House is a delightful antique. The view is incredible. Room was huge and clean. Owner Mo was accommodating.
Cons: Took a bit to find parking after 9pm, but Clifton Ave around the corner had plenty of free street spots. Maybe Mo could mention that to people when theyβre checking in.
