Excellent, I'll recommend it to others. And stay again. More prepared for what to expect.
Pros: No breakfast offered. A decent hot shower and quality bedding, good bed. The robe & towel. Ideal for my needs & great location, easy walking, train. Excellent service. Im sorry as a New Zealander I was overwhelmed 1st day, 1st time in NY about tax or tipping expectations. I appreciated the help and service.
Cons: Room felt too warm at night to sleep. A neighbour making calls. But ok.

Friday and Saturday night for a solo traveller who was laying over but wanted to make the most of the time in NYC so boo
Pros: The accommodation was exactly what I needed. I was a solo traveller who stayed two nights and for the price in New York you can’t go wrong. It’s a small cabin but with everything you needed and the bathrooms were clean and exactly what I needed - I never found myself waiting. Staff were so friendly and always helped me when I needed. Really recommend especially for solo travellers and they have two only women floors too.
Cons: No lift so if you have a suitcase just take into account you will need to carry it up but it’s only three stories and staff are happy to help.

3 nights 4 stars
Pros: The snug room is plenty of space if you are staying for a weekend. The bed for me was very comfortable and I brought a large checked-in bag which fit perfectly under the bed. I hung my clothes through the rail above the bed so for me it worked well. The staff, checkin and facilities were perfect. Plenty of showers etc and I stayed on a half women floor but there were plenty of showers. I also liked the small lounge down stairs as there is a little convenience store next door which makes fresh sandwiches etc if you want to have something nearby. The thoughtful supplies like the dyson hairdryer, toothbrushes etc are a nice touch. Also for this budget and location you get great value.
Cons: So the main carpet of the floor wasnt well hoovered and I can see this might be hard with noise management etc. I slept well for the 3 nights but you can hear people snoring or making noise. The doors are noisy but I stopped hearing it to be honest. It was quite warm on the floor but the duvet is alittle lighter so it was fine really. I stayed in January with snow so I imagine summer might be abit warm. It would be good to have more power points. For those using adaptors you can only fit one plug in at a time so hard to power up everything

Pros: It is very efficient to have a tiny room when one just needs to sleep. The overall amenities are totally enough for what one needs in this kind of context.
Cons: The overall quality of the hotel was good. However I see some room for improvement. The carpet in the room was quite smelly and the carpets in the corridors were a bit dirty- during the 3 days that I stayed there they were not vacuumed. The bathroom/toilets were quite clean however the ventilation in the showers should be better. When one enters after another person just had showered it is too steamy. Also there is no coffee machine, this would be great to have.

Pros: Fantastic amenities, phone charging station, robe, eye mask, everything you could need.
Cons: Rooms were slightly more connected than expected, with connecting ceilings so noise making the noise very detectable. But everyone was super respectful and had no issues, just made me overly conscious of my movements.

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable stay.
Pros: The location was pretty much perfect for me. There are some good local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops just a stone’s throw away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It also felt like someone was cleaning all the time. The room, which is really more of a cabin, was very small but adequate and quite cosy. The shared ceiling, where the walls didn’t go all the way up, didn’t bother me too much, though it did take an hour or two to get used to. Nice touches like the dressing gown and sleep masks were appreciated.
Cons: There’s not much negative to say about the property. For me, it fitted my needs well. For others, I can see the stairs being an issue, as well as the size of the cabins. Not everyone likes shared facilities. I’m used to living in a camper van from time to time, so it didn’t bother me at all. You can hear some noise from the other cabins, which does take a little getting used to.

Above my expectations
Pros: The room was small but clean and convenient. They provided everything: a robe, a towel, slippers, a sleeping mask and even a usb plug. Everything was clean and very quiet. I am actually quite happy with my choice.
Cons: Tbh I can't think of anything. The area was ok although not the prettiest in NY, but other than that I really can't complain.

Very happy with the experience!
Pros: I thought Now Now was great. A good price for the excellent location. The facilities exceeded my expectations - the showers have nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There are dyson hair dryers on the lower floor. The showers and bathrooms were always really clean and smelt nice. My room too was cleaned every day and bed made. You get a robe and slippers as well - note if you want to save suitcase space and avoid bringing your own! Staff were really friendly and helpful, checking in and out was easy, and hopping in and out through-out the day/night was no trouble at all. The area and the hotel itself felt very safe and I was never concerned in that respect. I also really, really appreciate the lockers for suitcases - I managed to fit 2 big ones in one locker on my last day after I checked out and it was $10 for 4 hours allowing me to get a bit extra time exploring the city easily, thought that was great.
Cons: The open ceiling as everyone's mentioned means that you can hear everything, I was woken up by a neighbour sneezing one night. I could even hear breathing. Saying that though I didn't feel the need to use the ear plugs or white noise machine and by the end of the week I could sleep through anything. There was some demonic door slamming and suitcase dropping from neighbours some nights. The doors DON'T NEED to be slammed! I was able to close and lock quietly. I think this would be my only flag, because otherwise I love the concept of this hotel particularly for solo travellers and whilst the nightly price is much more affordable than traditional hotels in a comparatively great location on Manhattan.
