Clean and comfortable NY hotel, close to subway.
Pros: Comfortable bed. All staff friendly and helpful. Close to subway, SOHO and West Village
Cons: Didn’t like the fake goods sellers lining the street near the hotel. Room was small but probably normal size for NY. We had brought camping plates and cutlery from home for when we wanted to have something in the room rather than eat out every meal, and after a few days, it disappeared - presumably housekeeping thought the plates disposable and metal cutlery belonged to the hotel - no reimbursement or replacement given.

Very nice
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff nice. The location was super because you got 3 different metro stops very within 600 metres, including the one that connected with the air train for the jfk airport
Cons: Canal street isn’t a clean street, especially in the night

Location, view, room size, additional services = best value for money in the south.
Pros: It is and remains a hotel belonging to a large chain, and anyone looking for individuality in the sense of a boutique hotel is in the wrong place here. This hotel impresses with its location between Tribeca and Soho. From here, New York, especially the south of Manhattan, can be explored fantastically. West Village, Greenwich, Chelsea, as well as the financial district and Brooklyn Bridge are within walking distance. Great shops, restaurants and museums are in the immediate vicinity. Another advantage of this hotel is that it is a little older. Advantage? Well, hotels up until the 1990s had significantly larger rooms. You can comfortably spread your suitcase out on the floor without having to step over it. As the Sheraton is a global chain, you can rely on cleanliness and fresh mattresses, etc. No other hotel in this location and price range has rooms of a similar size. The higher rooms even have a great view.
Cons: It is a global corporate Hotel chain, so don't expect individuality. But if you come for business or have been in New York a few times and know the pain of those super tiny 400 Dollar + rooms, you will love it's comfort and space.
