Loved staying here would never stay anywhere else in Philly

Fantastic stay in fabulous area

Pros: Authentic, not glitzy. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Everything you need at your fingertips. Helpful staff. Amazing bar.

Excellent location

Pros: Excellent location for sightseeing in the old historical town. Very spacious room in an historic building and very comfortable. Very close to metro stop. Coffee, tea and muffins available included at reception for breakfast.

Cons: Staff advised water was not suitable to drink from taps due to being an old building, and the only option really was either vending machine or water jug at reception which was removed at 10.30pm.

Pros: Bit older room, but the nice staff all made up for it. I got here super early, but they allowed me into the room so I could freshen up already after my travel. They don't do breakfast, but they have complimentary muffins and coffee in the morning.

Pros: Perfect location,easy to walk everywhere.staff were so nice to us,enjoyed the cold water/coffee available at front desk

Great place to stay

Pros: Fabulous room, really big. Location great for walking to historic part of town and close to subway and bus stops. Excellent restaurant and the most amazing bar, bar tender Allesandro was so helpful and friendly.

Cons: The only negative was the noise from traffic, maybe worse because my room was near front of hotel. There were two roads in front of hotel with multiple lanes and traffic could be heard all night. If you’re a light sleeper then I suggest ear plugs.

Perfect for a visit to historic Philadelphia

Pros: Our second visit. Beautiful older building, light and elegant room, friendly staff. Free coffee and muffins provided for breakfast. Very good location close to Delaware River attractions (ships and ferry), Christ Church and Market Street restaurants. Great second-hand bookshop round the corner on 2nd St.

Cons: Our room faced the river, with a good view but some traffic noise from the freeway.

Great location for price.

Pros: Lovely quaint hotel with excellent location short walk to cafes, bars and restaurants.

Cons: Rooms are smallish they and perhaps could do with a little refresh.
