Lokal Hotel Old City

Pros: Charming place, nice design, super nice neighbourhood

Cons: A slight smell of moisture

Exactly what we needed, perfect stay.

Pros: Loved the location, it was out of the town and near to the historic sights. The street the hotel is located on has lots of lovely independent shops and nice coffee places. Really couldn't have asked for a better location.

Cons: The stairs are STEEP.

I was a great space and I would likely visit again, but in a warmer season.

Pros: I loved the entire space, the amenities, and the location. There wasa ton of space. The view was great. The place was easy to find and access.

Cons: It was an extremely cold day, but the space never really got warm. The shower water pressure was not good, but the water was hot. You can really hear other guests walking up and down the stairs.

Loved the stay in a nicely renovated space. Walkable location in old city Philly for restaurants and landmarks.

Pros: Walkable location to restaurants and landmarks. Nice city view from the Louisa room. Well thought out amenities available to use: robes, coffee/ tea( not the wasteful keurig kind). Washer/ dryer, if staying longer. Kitchen stocked for cooking/ dining in.

Cons: Unfortunate windows did not open. At times Stubborn lock system. If you have trouble climbing stairs or have heavy bags This is not the place for you, steep staircase.

Pros: The location was excellent. Very cook vibe. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops, markets and historic sites. The room was very quiet considering me were in the city. I think I heard someone above us once. The guidebook they provided was very helpful. The Lokal staff were very responsive to our questions.

Pros: Great location, close to the reserved restaurant, many accessible and walkable areas.

Cons: The walk up situation - it isn’t prominently advertised. Would be more honest to say how many floors/stairs are in the walk up when the room is assigned. Unusual to have people sign a contract to approve their stay. Would consider making some lights adjustable/dimming-capable. Pretty high cost for a non-concierge hotel, even by Philadelphia standards. Would rate it as a high-end Airbnb rather than a hotel.

Pros: The pictures do not do this property justice. It’s beautiful. Very clean. Stocked with every thing one would need including: washer and dryer, mini fridge, dishes, and all of the essentials. Any concerns were taken care of immediately.

Cons: Its location is old city so the parking is atrocious.

Apparemment confortable et bien situé pour visiter les lieux historiques de Philadelphia

Pros: Apparemment indépendant calme propre et bien placé.

Cons: Chambre trop lumineuse sans rideaux pour obscurcir malgré des caches yeux à disposition que nous n’avons pas utilisé car nous ne savions pas si ils étaient neufs ou lavés. Le frigo était bruyant ce qui peut gêner des personnes au sommeil léger sans boules quies.

Super plek op top locatie

Pros: Super appartement op een hele leuke locatie in de stad. In de buurt leuke coffeebars en winkels

Pros: Overall, the space is excellent and clean. I would definitely stay here for a longer time if I needed to. As with everything, there are downsides. As many have noted, there is no elevator, so if you are elderly and have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for you. Also if you were to come here, you would need to think of it as a glorified AirBnB and not really a hotel since hotel staff really doesn't exist. Neither of those things bothered me or my wife, but keep in mind when you are booking.
