Would recommend and stay at the Renaissance downtown Philadelphia again.
Pros: Location, had a restaurant and bar. Front desk staff where super helpful and accommodating. The fitness centre was great.
Cons: Additional charges for off-site parking.

Pros: The large room and huge bed, location in the historic area and the view. Good amenities.
Cons: What I thought was noisy aircon was not an issue after the room warmed up. No breakfast facilities.

Excellent location and good breakfast with good but a little lackluster interior design.
Pros: The breakfast was great. Even the continental breakfast is way above average. Staff in the breakfast restaurant was very nice. The room was positively huge for its price and we had a direct view onto the tower of the constitution center. The room was clean and had all amenities, like a coffee maker and a safe.
Cons: Due to its size, the room felt a bit empty. The furniture was a bit lackluster. Also, the room was missing a wardrobe or such. The room was lit by multiple standing and desk lamps that each had their own switch, so if you wanted to light up or darken the room, you needed to run around flipping 5 different switches. When we were about to arrive, the hotel desk (via phone) was not able to reserve a parking spot for us and informed us that this was only possible via the parking garage's website and not through the hotel. The continental breakfast was priced at 13 USD (quite reasonably so for its quality). But if you had already purchased breakfast, e.g. when booking, it was not possible to upgrade the breakfast to any other of the the breakfast options by paying only the difference or a little upcharge. For example, there was an avocado toast option for 16 USD and I wonder why I couldn't pay 3 or 4 dollar extra, to upgrade my (paid) continental breakfast to the avocado toast, or something else.

Pros: the location, the staff and the overall hospitality
Cons: I requested a bottle of water but was expected to go downstairs and get it myself. usually in hotels as a courtesy they bring it up to you! other than that all good!

Pros: I like the place the room was so cozy the view was amazing. And the room was so big we was comfortable. We love it’s was great.
Cons: The heat was taking to long to heat the room that’s all. And there was no microwave I think people might like it better if there was a microwave in the or in the lobby.

It was very nice, and the breakfast was delicious, but the stained condition of that cloth booth seating was atrocious.
Pros: The location was perfect for walking to the historical sites and exhibits. The room and halls were spotless! The restaurant server was efficient and friendly.
Cons: The upholstery in the booth type seating was full of stains—a lot! It couldn’t be helped that the elevator was being repaired, and I imagine that they also couldn’t do much about the condition of the building we had to go through in order to use the service elevator. Regardless, you could see that housekeeping did all they could to keep supplies organized and clean.
