Nice and clean rooms, free breakfast - would stay again

Pros: Nice room - large, clean and well decorated, with all the necessary stuff: coffee machine, fridge, microwave, safe. Good location. Room service came every morning and asked if I need anything, they were nice and polite. There is a small but decent gym in the hotel. Every morning they serve breakfast - omelet and sausage, oatmeal, cornflakes, yogurts, fruits, pancakes. Tea and coffee in the lobby are available 24/7. Would stay here again.

A short annual stop off where I know everything will work.

Pros: I like the welcome for my annual visit. Great location for using the train, from London Uk via New York in my case. Good also for eateries in a nice city. The decent breakfast always available is a big plus for hotel choice. This hotel also doesn’t make a fuss of the free WiFi, which other hotels such as the Royal York in Toronto do.

Cons: There was nothing that irked me except for the ridiculous requirement to place a deposit in case I trash the room. A risk analysis for an older guest such as myself might suggest this is of net negative benefit to the hotel for people who have stayed before.

Cons: Requested for check in before time. They told me it's subject to availability. Reached by 2pm on 11th August. They had informed us our room is not ready. But they started allotting rooms to other guests as soon as they arrived. They asked us to show the whole 10 days payment amount and 50 USD security deposit in a single card during check in. We had to wait for more than 2 hours.

Good hotel at city center

Pros: Usual Holiday Inn breakfast, comfy bed, big, quiet room.

Cons: Bathroom divided in two (bath/toilet booth and wash basin in room), has advantage and disadvantage as well. Fridge is noisy at night.
