Extended Stay America Suites - Secaucus - New York City Area

Nice affordable place yo stay in Secaucus not too far from NYC

Pros: Location was good as it was close to a bus stop that did trips to New York every 20 minutes Also local restaurants and movie theater close by. Clean room, good size, comfortable bed & 40 plus channels to choose from. Kitchen for cooking meals if you wanted to & a big fridge. Shower and bath available to use all part of the room.

Cons: Not a big deal but you had to request kitchen items if you wanted them & you had to go to reception for more towels to replace dirty ones. No housekeeping unless you stayed over a certain amount of time or you could pay extra $ to have your room cleaned

Pros: The room, staff, location, gym, breakfast counter. Second time staying here, and found it to be excellent value for money.

Cons: One fire alarm incident but quite fun watching several fire engines turn up with sirens to a false alarm (not caused by me btw), bathroom door issue (fixed it), microwave not working but it was replaced with a fully working new one very quickly. No bath plug but got round that problem. Minor issues that were remedied either by myself or the friendly maintenance man.

Pros: I absolutely Loved this Hotel. It was very clean, very quiet, safe. The area is the best part, not only do you have a bus 2 minutes away from you that goes to central New York but you also have Dunkin, Walmart, chipotle etc. literally 10 minutes away ( walking distance ). I didn’t talk to staff a lot but when I did they were nice and respectful. A deserved 5/5.

Good location with free parking

Pros: Just a few meters away from a bus station. The bus brings you in the middle of Manhattan in 20 minutes.

Cons: No toilet in the hallway of the hotel? Never heard of this before! wanted to wash hands before leaving and after checking out of the room

This facility was really convienent I will give it a 10/10

Pros: It was on a bus route along with it having a little shopping area around the facility.

Cons: I didn’t like those breakfast. It was just tea and breakfast bar.

Very enjoyable stay

Pros: We liked the location, the spacious characterful room, the comfortable mattresses, the breakfast, the large tv, the cooking facilities, the hot shower and bath. Excellent value for money.

Cons: The fridge was a little noisy at night, the fire alarm went off a couple of times but was silenced again quickly, the communal corridors areas needed some attention.

Excelent hotel within 15min from Manhattan for a third of the price

Pros: Giant room with a living room and kitchen. Very comfortable bets. It only takes like 15min to get to the center of Manhattan using the direct 320 bus and the stop is right next to the hotel. Very easy! If you want to avoid the exorbitant prices of hotels in Manhattan, this is a great alternative. The pool is also pretty good!

Very nice if you want to go to NYC but save money !

Pros: Staff was very nice. The room was big and clean, with a view and sunny. We were very close to a bus stop (320) that went directly to downtown New York and it got us back past midnight. We left at 11h38 but they didn't charge us an extra fee ! Big fridge, sofa, TV, dishwasher, microwave. Overall very satisfied!

Cons: It was a little disappointing to have to order a kitchen set, but we didn't cook so it was okay. The fire alarm went off at 10 AM because some people were cooking (they have a new system that's very sensitive to insure that people are not smoking).

Excelente ubicación

Pros: Lo elijo siempre por la ubicación y el precio. El bus hacia Manhattan para a pocos metros y tenes la posibilidad de no gastar comiendo afuera porque tenes espacio para cocinar y el Walmart súper cerca.

Cons: El hotel se ve viejo y aparenta poca limpieza.
