Perfect for solo travelers, it has the essentials and is well located!

Pros: Simple accommodation, but it has the essentials and offers privacy. Excellent location! Coffee, tea, and some snacks always available and it includes breakfast with homemade pastries and seasonal fruit (along with more basic options like bagels, cereals, etc.).

Cons: Its not that I didn’t like it, but it might be an important point for some people: you need to climb about 4 flights of stairs, and it’s a lot of stairs.

Pros: Location was ideal. Krishna, on reception, was extremely accommodating and professional - very kind. Room was as expected and overall I would highly recommend as a quiet place to stay while visiting the city.

Pros: The people who work here and run the place are the kindest, non judgemental and helpful individuals I have ever met in New York

Cons: It’s true there’s no lift which is tough if you have heavy bags but both times I needed help, someone caught that and helped me. It’s true you have privacy in your ‘pod’ and an open ceiling but actually it’s lovely and communal. I’ll go back.

Pros: The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The fresh fruit, breads, cereals, choice of teas, juice and hot coffee was very good and much appreciated. The staff are friendly and they take the snoring and general quietness seriously and I didn't find it a problem to sleep, but you do need earplugs as you can hear every noise from the cabins around you.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit small but I understand it's New York and space is limited. It would be nice if the other guests were a little more friendly and engaged a bit -- but that's not your fault. Everyone is just on their phone nowadays and don't seem to want to meet or chat with others in hostels.

Great location, friendly place

Pros: Great place to stay at. Very well located. The compartment to sleep in was small but had quite enough space and I had a very comfortable night. The breakfast was really delicious (bagels, fresh fruit) and it was lovely to talk to some of the other travellers. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The bathroom was somewhat primitive - the shower stall in the women’s bathroom was very small. This was fine for one night but could be difficult with a longer stay.

The BEST! Magical, fun, relaxing, spiritual, exciting and memorable.

Pros: Everything was perfect! I would totally rebook again. I have wanted to visit NYC for 6 years and NYSH made that accessible to me. Also the fact I could drop by during the day to get a tea/hot drink/refresh was so appreciate. Thank you 🙏

Cons: One client was a bit rowdy on my last night however the team dealt with it very well.

Wonderfull experience

Pros: This Hostal is located perfectly very close to Penn station. The staff is very friendly and someone is present all the time looking out for your safety and keeping the guests quiet The room is very practical, the breakfast great, tea/koffie/water all day long, showers warm and clean. I participated as a voluntierin the food program on Monday-Wednesday-Friday and met wonderfull people

Pros: Possibility have a de dictated space to sleep. Availability of drinkable water and hot tea 24 hours is fantastic. The breakfast is good but only sweet and really full of sugar. The personal was friendly and nice.

Cons: Not about this property but generally speaking in such situation there I always someone coming home late and making noise. As the capsule has no isolation on the ceiling you can hear everything.
