Hotel Hugo

Lovely stay in Hugo Hotel - would recommend

Pros: bed was a great size, location is nice a quiet, room was a good size, the view was very nice, staff were friendly and helpful - second time we have stayed at Hugo Hotel, both have been nice experiences. Would stay again

Cons: The coffee machine was a little difficult and couldn't use it in the end. Would have been nice if we could have used it.

Pros: Overall it was very clean good location and comfortable bed and room. Staff was friendly could approach guests a bit more in seating area. Our room was freshened up and tidied everyday to same standard.

Cons: The floor of room was not very clean when arrived but the next day better. maybe hotel was fully booked. But overall as I say very good.

Perfect!!

Pros: Luxurious, good space, love the location near the west village and soho!!

Cons: Only drawback really was the price, but still very good comparatively to other places. A microwave or toaster would have been handy as well but understand the space constraints

The Hotel was ideal for a short stay and also good value

Pros: The room was very clean The staff were friendly and efficient. While the room was not large it was perfect for a short stay.

Cons: The only issue we had was the coffee machine in our room broke.

The most perfect location at a great boutique hotel !!

Pros: Great location in a quiet area. You can walk to a lot of locations within a hour like Maddison square, summit one, Times Square to name a few. Subway station was a 5 min walk. Hotel room was big for New York. It was clean. Housekeeping came everyday they were super friendly in fact all the staff were so so friendly. If I saw them in the elevator or in passing they always acknowledged me. Maria checked me in she was so lovely & recommended a few places to go. Concierge guys were so lovely as well. seeing as they are the first to greet you they really were just so friendly. There was a rooftop that actually never visited but seemed popular place. I just need to say again how amazing the location was. Away from all the busyness & fuss. It was less than 10 min walk from Hudson River which was so lovely to walk through. Overall felt so safe as a solo traveler.

Cons: I can't say anything to be honest only small thing blind wouldn't go all the way down so if you need full blacked out room to sleep that would be the only thing. Otherwise nothing I didn't like. Book the hotel !!!

Great ambiance, friendly staff, rooftop amazing!

Pros: Rooftop bar, nightclub and restaurant were top class

Cons: Walking from subway at night as nothing open nearby

Clean and cozy stay with great location at Soho

Pros: Had very pleasant stay in Hugo Hotel. Warm staff, clean and comfortable hotel room. The room size is bigger than I've expected.

Cons: The lift took a while to come and sometimes it wobbled a lot (can be a bit scary at times) and I found it hard to turn the Shower Know (a bit heavy) with the shower slide door not able to be closed (so the water went everywhere). But those are pretty minor for me, I'd definitely comeback.

Good relaxed hotel

Pros: Welcoming and relaxed hotel in great location near to Soho and great views of the Hudson. Welcoming staff, good room and excellent housekeeping. The roof bar is lovely and staff always helped us get a table. Relatively good value for New York.

Pros: Amazing location and the rooftop where fantastic with sunset view and great drinks. We also got two drink tickets from the hotel when we arrived.

Cons: We needed to ask for them to clean our room everyday otherwise it was not done.

Clean & Neat

Pros: Neat clean and stylish building. Nice coffee / restaurant area downstairs.

Cons: Very slow lift. Worst in-shower dispensers. Hard to pump. Strong new aircon with limited fan speed settings. Not that central to Soho and depends on how long you willing to walk.
