Lovely, spacious, great location, great vicinity to the subway.

Pros: Location, cleaning staff were so lovely, received a welcome bottle of wine, bed was super comfie, room was spacious, nice big bathroom, right next to the subway.

Cons: Reception staff barely spoke, not overly friendly or informative.

The best hotel in NY to stay with a good price. 🙏🏼

Pros: It was very organised,calm and all the staff were lovely and kind. If I go to New York again I will definitely stay there again.They have the best snacks in jars in the room like cashews,m&ms and gummy bears which are so delicious.😋 Absolutely made our evenings and watching movies too. Also the breakfast is amazing at Smyth a good and healthy variety. Thank you very much. My family and I loved it🙏🏼

Great downtown Manhattan stay - clean, comfy and close to everything!

Pros: We stayed in a Superior King Room that was clean and spacious with a nice comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, if we needed anything. We liked the hotel location a lot in downtown Manhattan - being close to many attractions, bars, restaurants and shops. Also only about a 10 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge from the hotel which was great and the Chambers Street Subway is just steps away.

Pros: We loved everything about the property — the location was absolutely amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the concierge Mario was especially helpful, as were all the other concierges (unfortunately, we don’t remember their names). Everything was truly outstanding. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness — spotless bathrooms, fresh towels — and there were nice breakfast places nearby. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Thank you so much for the hotel!

Overall a really good stay.

Pros: The staff in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. They were attentive, friendly and the food was excellent too.

Cons: The reception staff were poor at handling our initial concerns about our room. We had reserved a junior suite for 2 adults and a child and when we checked in at 6pm the sofa bed wasn’t made up and the room was a bit tired looking. The reception staff in the morning said it was our fault we should have requested the bed to be made up even though it was a room for 3 people. There were only towels for 2 guests too. Reception staff in the morning were a little rude. The manager had to ask them to leave it to him to sort out.

4* + well deserved.

Pros: Clean, good location, safe. The 4*+ price was similar with Middtown 5*, however the facilities and reviews way better. This is the reason I have chosen Smyth TriBeCa and I was very happy with my choice.

Cons: The sister tavern charged me the gratuity tip without asking if I would want to leave a tip and they expected me to add again 20%. I find tipping an obligation in the US. In EU nobody is forced to leave 20% tip. You see a price on the menus and you land up paying extra 30% tax and tipping. Other than that, they were some extra charges made by mistake which the reception handled them in a decent manner. Hotel itself is great and I would stay there again.
