Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport

Pros: The property was clean and the staff were always available and happy to help. There was a shuttle service that made it super simple to get to and from the airport. The breakfast was nice!

Comfortable and close to the airport.

Pros: It was close to the airport and had a free shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with plenty of seating for guests.

Cons: The biggest issue is that they weren't able to store our luggage after we checked out, which meant we couldn't make full use of our day before our departing flight in the evening. I guess that's partly on me as I forgot to check when I booked, but it would be really good if you could add that service. There aren't a lot of options for getting a meal at night if you don't have a car. The restaurant next door was closed, unfortunately. We ended up getting a pizza delivered. The hotel is in the middle of a refurb of the foyer. I'm sure it will look great when it is done, but it looked a bit like a building site when we arrived.

Pros: Front Desk went beyond my expectations, they were amazing, very polite and friendly. Place was under maintenance but they managed the situation smoothly, breakfast was great and room was clean. Loved staying here.

A good place to rest after a long flight

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was easy and quick. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The buffet style breakfast was good.

Cons: There were a lot of renovations going on at the time, and long waits for the lift sometimes as workmen were using them. But even with this going on, we had an enjoyable stay.

Pros: Location, near to the shops, area appeared to be.safe. Hotel offered a good breakfast. Ice machines were available. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was just right

Pros: The Shuttle was great, running every 30 minutes. The breakfast was excellent, serving hot and cold food.

Great hotel near EWR to catch early flight !

Pros: Close to airport meet our need to catch the shuttle early in the morning for flight. Stayed 1 night not sure if there’s breakfast. Clean comfy bed and prompt shuttle service. Friendly driver to chat with.

Cons: The sofa bed was broken, couldn’t open up to set up to sleep as bed so slept on it as sofa instead.

Pros: Honestly I almost cancelled my reservation because of the bad reviews online, but I'm grateful that I pushed through with it because they exceeded my expectations. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and room was very clean and spacious. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Cons: I was trying to reach out to them through booking.com, but I got no reply. Also, the coffee machine wasn't turning on in my room.
