Price/quality ok

Pros: Basic but clean hotel, good location to visit Manhatten.

Cons: Breakfast in the lobby, only 2 small tables.

Pros: Our stay was really good. To be honest there's nothing we can complain about. The location was Perfect- a pleasant and short walk from two different PATH stations. The walk by the river is also a really good option to have the whole Manhattan at hand. The hotel room had everything we needed during our stay. There was a typical American interior decor and equippment.It was very neat and tidy, cleaned every other day. Sweet breakfast served from an early morning, coffee and tea available all day long. They let us leave our luggage after the check-out which was super nice. A small thing for them was a game changer for us, as we were leaving the airport at 11 p.m. If we ever come back to NYC, we'll definitely stay at Holland Hotel.

Cons: There're only two small tables in the lobby for people the have their breakfast, the hotel is quite big. There's plenty of space to sit outside, however, we were there in December so it was to cold to use this area.

Pros: Location is great, of course being right next to the tunnel entrance comes with some horns and cars noises but not overwhelming. Parking is plentyful. walking distance to the Path trains to Manhattan. Rooms are ok but again right for the price

Extremely overpriced outdated property

Pros: Excellent location near Newport mall and Newport train station.

Cons: Crazy price + noise from heating systems inside a wall all night long

Pros: Our room is enough big and clean. The bed is comfortable.

Cons: Breakfast could be better.

Price performance is very good

Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 3. We were very pleased with the cleaning, 24 hrs coffee serving (they even had decaff option), variety of choises at the breakfast, and most of all, the hotel personnel. They were helpful and friendly. The location was good, only 10 mins away from the PATH train that arrives at Manhattan.

Pros: Everything was clean and nice. The breakfast was good in terms of quality and choice of food, though a little crowded because the buffet was laid out in the lobby. The bathroom was well-equipped. Using public transport worked easily enough since two PATH stations were within walking distance, though one must take caution that the trains run less frequently on the weekends.

Cons: Both my (foreign) credit cards weren't accepted and I had to pay for the rollaway bed in cash. Traffic was a bit noisy at times, though it did not impact the quality of sleep considerably. By New-York-City-area standards, the noise was acceptable.

Overall a pleasant stay with some room for improvement

Pros: On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free parking is a big bonus in Jersey City. The location is convenient: a mall with dining options is nearby, and there are gas stations and fast-food places just around the corner.

Cons: The room with two queen beds was small but clean. However, the mattresses were quite worn — you could feel the springs in one of them, so replacing some beds would be a good idea. The toilet flush was also very loud and should be checked. Breakfast was typical for American hotels, but the room was tiny with only two tables — most people had to eat outside on the small terrace.

Pros: We are staying here, not for the first time, a good hotel for this price, close to the metro station, all the infrastructure nearby, a wonderful embankment, there is free parking.
