Spacious Stay with Easy Access to Manhattan

Pros: The room was very spacious for two people — more like an apartment. It had two separate rooms, each with a double bed and a flat-screen TV on the wall, as well as a small kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. A continental breakfast was included; it was nothing special and the same every day. Journal Square PATH station is about a 10–15 minute walk away, and the ride to World Trade Center takes only 12 minutes, which is very convenient.

Cons: The only downside was that the deposit refund took a long time.

Pros: Great shuttle service from Newark airport. Good size rooms cleaned daily. Good breakfast included. Overall great value for money.

Great location and price

Pros: Great location close to PATH train to get in to NYC, within 20 minutes. . Our room was a good size and one of the most comfortable beds i've had in a hotel and kept very clean. Towels changes regularly. The room was also well equipped with a kettle, microwave and fridge that was really handy for drinks and snacks as well as an iron and ironing board. We had a family room that had 2 queen beds, one in the main room and a separate bedroom, there was plenty of storage. Breakfast was included in the price and always found something there to eat - pancakes, pastries, sausage egg, juices and tea/coffee. Free shuttle to and from the airport was an added bonus, and nice not to worry about booking transport. Staff on the reception were always very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to visit NYC. Great value!

Cons: No real negatives- other than rooms are a little tired looking and could do with a bit of paintwork, but for the time spent in them it wasn't an issue for us

Decent hotel close to metro (Path) station

Pros: Close to (Path) metro station. My room was excellent, spacious with super big and comfy bed. Breakfast was decent (there is space for improvement). Ok wifi, normal stuff. Hotel is located outside of New York, but with Metro your are in Manhattan in 30-40 min stress free

Cons: Nothing mayor

Pros: Overall great value for money. Good location. Close to PATH, which can take you to Manhattan in 15 minutes. They were cleaning our room every day which is highly appreciated. I recommend it.

Cons: Breakfast could be better but was not expecting more for the budget.

A great choice compared to hotels in Manhattan

Pros: I was satisfied again this time. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the shuttle to and from the hotel is a huge plus. It's a 5-minute walk to the train station, 10 minutes to the WTC, and 20 minutes to 33rd Street in downtown Manhattan. The breakfast is perfectly adequate for a few days. I look forward to my next stay.

Worth its cost and location

Pros: Hi hello, I would like to leave fair review about hotel. What we concerned the most was a location and access to new york (Manhattan particularly). The hotel is just 7 minutes walk from Journal Square metro station in New Jercy. From that metro only 4 stops to World Trade Center in the Center of Manhattan and 8 stops to 33rd street which is next to Times Square. The only thing is you need to pay extra 3usd for using Path to go to and leave New Jercy, and separately pay for New York metro (2.75 per entrance). The hotel was clean and cosy and breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and price.

Cons: There a was a big insect in the dining area., we saw it only once though.

Wyndham hotel, Jersey city

Pros: Very large room, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, easy access to Path trains ro Manhattan.....we had 2 double beds in 2 rooms but really only needed one.

Cons: Had some minor issues re tv and lighting but staff rectified issues immediately. Breakfast was adequate but a wider options of hot food would have been good. Felt hotel was a little expensive, but we should have got just a double room in hindsight. Overall not bad...

Pros: The hotel is situated really close to the PATH line that brings you directly to the World Trade Center.

Cons: Couldn't find how to change the temperature in the room. The light switches had their own lighting so there was no complete darkness in the room.

Pros: Great breakfast. Within walking distance of PATH station. Spacious rooms.

Cons: Poor Wi-Fi. More cleaning personnel are needed (during a 3-day stay, we arrived twice at 15:30, and they hadn't entered the room yet to remove trash, etc)
