Hotel 57

Pros: Loved the hotel it was cheap, great location, great staff. It had everything you need i was satisfied.

Cons: First impressions the room might feel a little dated and could use more colour, but you quickly get over it. I was there 6 nights and enjoyed.

It was a great experience with its location and bathroom, but the pricing policy was disappointing.

Pros: The location was perfect, close to everything. I also really loved the bathroom—it was very modern, clean, and the shower was excellent.

Cons: I was disappointed with the pricing policy for extending my stay. When I asked to stay longer, they quoted a much higher price than my original booking. It felt unfair to a staying guest.

Was great, would definitely book again if we ever visit Sydney again

Pros: Excellent views and host, the property was clean and had everything we needed.

Pros: Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location with everything accessible. The rooms are warm and comfortable, with a good shower!

Cons: The rooms are a bit dark but that's a minor issue.

Great value and location

Pros: Amazing location considering the price. Midtown east is a quick walk to the Met in one direction and a little further to Time Square and Maddison Square Garden in the other direction. Also a quick walk to East River. I also recommended Bubbles Laundromat. (Or something with the word bubble in the name)

Cons: Nothing was out of place for the price. You pay for what you get. It’s not fancy but neither am I.

Pros: Very good place to stay for all attractions, parking near hotel ,45 dolars.

central hotel , welcoming staff and comfortable rooms

Pros: it is my second year returning to Hotel 57. The staff is very polite and friendly. Rooms are very clean and spacious.

Cons: The only thing I don’t like about the hotel is that there is no breakfast available despite there is a big dining room. Hopefully breakfast will be introduced in 2026.

Pros: The only positive side was the location — it was close to many places and also near the subway, which was very convenient. The staff always tried to be helpful, and the technicians who came to fix things were polite, friendly, and solved the issues each time.

Cons: The first room they gave us had a terrible smell — the carpet and furniture were very old and the room felt dirty. We complained, and they offered to change it. The second room was slightly better and didn’t smell. During the first two nights, the heating wasn’t working, so the room was freezing. They fixed it after I reported it, but then the fan made very loud noises whenever it turned on, which was disturbing at night. Overall, the room was small and lacked basic amenities like cotton pads, cotton swabs, or complimentary water. Only certain floors had water dispensers. At least there was a small coffee machine, which I used every day.

Pros: Great location, easy to check in and comfortable rooms. The gym is also very useful and the cleaning service is great.

Cons: Wall are a bit thin, so you can hear others

Pros: Comfortable rooms in city centre close to two subway stations, friendly staff
