The Empire Hotel New York

Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, loved it.

Pros: The location was amazing, close to the subway and easy to walk out, grab a coffee and a target nearby.

Cons: No coffee facilities in the room, would have been nice to even have somewhere in the lobby for a morning coffee.

Great hotel

Pros: Great location, the rooms are well sized with lots of amenities. The rooftop bar is lovely and the Mexican restaurant inside the hotel was fantastic

Cons: The room was very dark and there was no way to lift the blind. I also find it frustrating a security deposit is taken for each night and you don’t get it back for weeks.

Was a great location to explore Manhattan, directly opposite the Lincoln Centre.

Pros: The staff were helpful and pleasant. It was really useful to be able to leave our luggage in secure facilities before check-in and after we checked out.

Cons: It gets very busy at check-in time.

Loved the stay

Pros: Very beautiful and luxurious property, great location. Not too crowded. Close to subway, supermarket and nice breakfast spots. Walking distance from the opera, which I would also recommend during your stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free bottles of water provided along with a smile. Great tips from the staff.

Cons: The radiator makes a lot of noose from time to time

It was great location. Staff friendly but room for improvement.

Pros: I liked the cleanliness, and the staff were polite and friendly. I loved the rooftop bar.

Cons: The hotel was classed as 4-star, I would say 3.5-star. The bathroom door did not lock properly, and the paint on the bathroom door was chipped. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. The dumbbells in the gym started at a high weight. It would have been helpful to have lower weights. Not all the equipment in the gym was working.

A superb Upper West Side base with spacious rooms, friendly staff and a beautiful view of Lincoln Center.

Pros: Fantastic location on the Upper West Side. Our room was very large and had a lovely view of Lincoln Center, which was beautifully lit up at night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We did not spend much time in the room but found it to be a great location and a perfect base for exploring. There were great restaurants within a stone’s throw.

Cons: Bathroom was a little tired and in need of a freshen up

Very good sleep and great location!

Pros: The location was fantastic! Right near Central Park and everything else we needed. Our room on the 9th floor was super comfy, excellent shower and slept soundly.

Cons: Absolutely hated the first room we were put into on the 1st floor, it was super dingy and the shower was a weak dribble but the reception staff were extremely helpful and courteous getting us moved up higher with no questions or issues. If/when I book again I would request a room on the 9th floor.

Pros: Friendly staff and good location. Roof top bar was lovely

Cons: The lifts where under repair so only 2 where working
