My visit to the Manhattan Club Hotel was exceptional.

Pros: 1). Location 2). Breakfast options 3). Felt safe as a solo traveler 4) Cleanliness of facility 5). Cleaning staff are to be commended Will stay at the Manhattan Club Hotel on all future visits to New York City.

Cons: It did take hot water quite a while to heat up. Not a big issue. I just gave it time to heat up.

Cons: Only one elevator functioning, taking ages to go up and down as there are over 20 floors and we were on the 12th floor.

Great location. Great staff. A little overpriced.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was fantastic.

Cons: Half of the elevators were under maintenance which meant a long wait time.

Good room type, reception staff's customer service standards can be improved

Pros: Spacious room with 2 toilets - this is a real plus for the room type for 3 of us, we were quite comfortable. There was a microwave too, however, no kettles even after requesting for one. There was a coffee machine in the room. Sofa bed was quite heavy - otherwise great size for 2 adults to sleep in it comfortably. Location was great too - felt very safe in the area.

Cons: Front office staff was not accommodating at all. I asked for late checkout till 1pm but they flatly refused and said they can only extend for an hour for $50 or $100, ridiculous as most hotels allows 12-1pm usually. They did not bother checking, just said no and please feel free to share in review.
