La Quinta Central Park
Pros: Clean fluffy towels, clean and comfy bedding. Clean room and bathroom, good shower and hairdryer provided. Simple but quite ok free breakfast. Delightful friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location, 2:minutes from Central Park. Good value for a 2 star hotel.
Cons: The rooms are small but serviceable. Decoration is very very tired, needs a good paint job and new carpets.

Had a great stay in New York thanks La Quinta
Pros: Fantastic location and good breakfast. Room was fine for the location and price. Staff were a delight. No complaints, would defo visit again and recommend heartily - Central Park west is a wonderful location :)
Cons: We struggled to find cold water to fill our drinking bottles. Otherwise everything was good :)

Excellent location but small and tiny room
Pros: What we like definitely is location, room was so small but we knew it and accepted it. Breakfast was ok and it is good that they have open room for dining with hot tea, which not available in other hotels.
Cons: It was issue with elevator thanks to Mike he personally deal with that and other staff supportive. We did not like a line waiting for elevators and long time waiting when elevators will be reset. Guests always lost their time during such waiting.

Very good quiet location with excellent staff, friendly service and very helpful.
Pros: Nice room although small, well equipped with comfortable bed and hot shower.
Cons: There was no facility to open the window so we had to rely on A/C

Pros: The hotel offers a great location for reasonable money, and we will definitely come back here next time we visit New York. A nice bonus was the view from the window (room 1401). When you come to New York as a tourist to see this city and feel its soul, this view is an additional touch to the piggy bank of your impressions. P.S. I remind tourists from Europe and the Middle East that American hotels do not provide slippers and toothbrushes, take yours with you!

Well worth the price paid - just have realistic expectations and you won't be disappointed.
Pros: The executive double room was well worth the extra money for some breathing and storage space, perfect for our week long stay. The breakfast was largely good but some days the offering was too greasy, and the fruit/healthier options are limited. Still good as a complimentary offering. The location is unbeatable at this price bracket, just a few minutes walk away from many subway lines, from two different stations. As well as just across the road to central park and local bus services. The area is primarily residential and provides well received peace from busy days in bustling central Manhattan. In all, you get what you pay for and I can certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to save money on their New York accomodation.
Cons: The cleaners did not turn up to the room for the first two days despite requesting daily service. The lift was small and waits were long at busy times eg check-in/out times. Also, the TVs internet connection was down the entirety of our stay, meaningful in-room entertainment was very much limited. There could have been a lovely view from our window but the glass looked as though it was last cleaned many years ago, keeping up with the general feel of lacking maintenance around the hotel, which was most present when looking at peeling paint on the walls, scruffy sealing in bathrooms etc.
